A Small Favor To Ask
Hey everyone, I meant to be more active, but I've been moving from California to Iowa. That, and I've had some unfortunate news. A friend of mine who served with me in the Navy has passed away. His Navy time was cut short because he had to go back home to take care of his loved ones, so he didn't have the awesome coverage the armed forces provides. And his loved ones are trying very hard to raise money to give him a proper burial. The link is here:

My friend's name is Justin Walker. He was funny as hell, and he never stopped talking about the people from back home that he loved. Of the thousands of people I've personally known, very few of them had a heart like his. And I damn sure wouldn't be campaigning for just anybody. I personally promise you that he deserves this, and the only true evidence I can provide you is my word.
Someone who takes care of his friends and family the way he did deserves for his friends to give back to him. And they are trying desperately to raise money for him. Please help them to pay their respects to him and give him a proper burial so that they can have the closure they need.

I've just donated. I couldn't give much sadly because I'm in financial dire straits myself at the moment but a comrade in arms is a comrade in arms. I've shared the link to the GoFundMe page to a couple of British veterans groups on Facebook that I'm a member of so hopefully he'll get some more from his Brothers on this side of the Atlantic.
