What One Trait Do You Need to Succeed?
Well, this has been a week of ah-ha moments for me. Firstly, thank you to all WA members who have responded to my last post - your advice and suggestions were truly helpful in moving me through a bit of a "stuck" period.
I've been working on my website, focussing on that, - again, thanks to several pushes in the right direction.
So, now, my next question (by the way, your answers give me insight for blogs for my website) What One Trait do you Need to Succeed? In doing a lot of soul searching, and focussed study of my own mindset - the trait I need is creative visualization. The reason? Well, Mark Twain once said he could teach anyone how to get what they want; he just couldn’t find anyone who truly knew what they wanted.
I am passionate about several things - gardening, Regency and Scottish Dancing, reading, metaphysics; but which one is my life's passion? To my surprise - none of them! Those are hobbies - at this point. I may develop websites about them in the future, but right now, my passion, and my focus, is making money. I used to think that was crass, and greedy. However, and here is the connection - through visualization, I now see that making money is my passion.
So, whether your one trait is mental, or physical, or emotional - what is it that drives you in your need to succeed?

I think that. with me, it is commitment and confidence that I will succeed in this, however long it takes. It seems to be taking a long time at the moment!
We all have the same amount of time in a day - if Richard Branson can achieve what he achieved in the same 24 hour day that we have, - it will be a cinch. I try to stay focussed on that, even though things still go slower than expected sometimes.
excellent blog, that's a hard question. I am not sure how I would answer that question, that leaves a lot of room for thought.
Sharon, you have the most amazing perseverance! I've read a couple of your blogs - your challenges don't slow you down. You persevere!!
