If this is you? I want to follow you!

Good Evening friends! Let's be honest! #1.When you are running late for work, what is going through your head? #2.When you are on lunch break and your swallowing your food whole, how do you feel? #3.When you are dealing with a complicated coworker , What do you really want to say?

I will break the ice...

#1." Oh great I am late again and it wasn't my fault!..." or " I think I am about to get fired..." Yikes!

In Reality you were late because you went to Chick Fil a on a busy morning and you paid for the older lady behind you just because you felt it was something nice to do.. Maybe you were late because you noticed that you were not wearing the proper pants specified on the dress code and wanted to be on top of that as usual.. Or you were running late because as you were driving bumper to bumper you let one person pull into your lane and like 5 cars pulled out in front of you!

#2. " I feel crabby because I am eating my lunch 4 hours after lunch time.." or " I almost don't want to take a lunch break because I can't afford to..."

In Reality there was a customer that called screaming and yelling about an issue and wanting to speak to corporate because they didn't get an issue resolved and you ran into your lunch to Listen and solve converting her into your favorite customer. Maybe you took some extra days off to spend time with your family because you missed them and you couldn't afford to miss but family is first so skipping a lunch to stay on the clock is worth it...

#3. " She gets on my nerves, when she talks too much.." or " She keeps hounding me and keeps correcting me on every little thing.."

In Reality you are always open to listen to her because you realized she doesn't have any friends or family close by so you have become that person that was willing to open up regardless what others thought and became that open year for her to talk to. She is hounding you because she saw the potential that you have and the dedication and quality that you put into all that you do, she wants you to become a leader!

My point is that you always try to do the right thing at all times no matter who is watching. You give without expecting anything in return no matter how big the prize

! It's sad when you aren't praised for the good that you do but for the bad that you do. You invest your life around your job so much that we forget our values and forget that we have our own motives. You can't please everyone, but you can please your own mental satisfaction of knowing that you did your best and you made a change no matter what.
