Hope you are well. Just wanted to give you all a progress report as now I am back for good.

The Score!

The past two weeks I have been improving the site's SEO, as well as the SEO for pages and posts. It's taken me this long because I have so many posts.

As I mentioned in my previous post since coming back I noticed the AIOSEO next to posts. So it was my aim to improve on this score.

Averaging now about 95% I would say. I had done a pretty good job before but just wanted to work on it a little.

I know it's not too important but I know that I would feel happier if I tightened up my site.

Two areas that I concentrated on were the Meta Title and the Meta Description. By shortening these I was able to greatly improve the score.

And not only that I have found that my Click Through Rate (CTR) has slowly improved over the last two weeks.

This I feel is important because if people are clicking through from Google by reading my post title and description then Google will start to notice that people are interested in my site.

And therefore hopefully my ranking will go up.

Spelling and Grammar

One tool that I started to use was Grammarly. By using this tool I fixed up some glaring mistakes in my spelling and also fixed up the grammar as well.

This I feel is a good tool to use, (although I'm only using the basic free package at the moment).

Hopefully, people will stay on my posts longer. And this will be noticed by Google as well.

Does it make Adsense?

One income stream I used in the beginning was Google Adsense. I had only put ads on three of my posts. Just to see if it worked.

I recently noticed Auto Ads, so I thought I would give that a try. It's pulling in a couple of dollars a day.

It's early yet but I think with my site getting traction and getting more visitors then more money will come from ads.

I thought I would just give this a try anyway.

Finally, my next goal

My next plan is to rewrite some old posts as I feel that they can be a bit misleading. Originally I had targeted keywords but most of the post was advertising a product.

I want to write two new posts from the content of the original, (and then delete the original). The first post will be informative which in turn will point to the product review.

I will have to be careful of broken links. I think this will be a good idea because I'm hoping people will stay on the posts for longer.
