Thank You, People - It Is Our Success

The last few days were quite challenging for me. But with the encouragement of many people in Wealthy Affiliate community, I found myself being a able to push more and more. I am grateful for your response to my questions each time I get stuck. I also appreciate the inspirational and encouraging posts most times. They are very helpful.

This is my eigthth week after joining Wealthy Affiliate and my sixth of becoming a premium member. I am new to website design, etc, though not new to marketing. Before becoming a premium member, I quickly went into the online enterpreneur certification training and completed the first lesson (10 classes).

Upon becoming a premium member I switched to the bootcamp. Getting a website designed was an easy piece as it would have been with many of us. So I had two - https://imird.com and https://innovationmarketingideas.com.

As events unfold, I began to have difficulty with getting the websites to look professional. To get linked with the social networks and get them indexed and ranked. I also wanted to keep pace with the ranking because I consider that to be a social responsibility of every member.

If I get encouraged by the comments of others, it should be important to me to post here as well, so as to encourage other members of the community. You never know, a post may bring to someone who may be at the pricipice of giving up.

Last weekend, I got stuck with google analytics and google console stuff. Twitter and facebook links, not to mention pinterest (this I am yet to resolve).

The Event

I had few posts in the websites and getting affiliate links on was an issue. I kept on battling. At some stage, I decided to focus on https://imird.com and I got it registered on google analytics and google console. I left https://innovationmarketingideas.com at the level of google analytics, thinking, I will use https://imird.com to learn the ropes and come back to the other site when I know a little more.

Only for me this morning to get an email that my website has been indexed. My initial thought was that it was the site I have been busy with that got indexed only to read the email and discover that it was another. I was shocked.

Few minutes later, I got an email from google informing me that my website imird.com has noindex problem and that I should resolve the problem.

I went through the guide form the email. I thought I was not making any headway, so I decided to leave it and come back to it again.

Few hours after I got the email below.

So my websites got indexed TODAY. I have the Almighty G go live on my profile.

The Real Gist

There are a numbert of real gists around this.

1. This is no mean feat. But the truth is that, it is not my success. It is Kyle's, Jacqueline's and yours in this community. I came into this community with no tech knowledge. I got trained by Kyle and your contributions. Again Thank you.

2. I was almost getting discouraged. But within one week, I learned how to get facebook and twitter linked to my website. And I used the knowledge to have my post not only on fecaebook and twitter but also on my linkedIn account.

3. within these few days, a novice like me got two websites indexed in one day.

To some people in this community this is no big deal, but to many like me, this is very encouraging.

What I Am Telling Myself Now

Be sure to take little steps consistently. It will add up.

The night is darkest when the dawn is nearest. I almost give up. But with the achievements of the last few days, I am, very encouraged. So continue to encourage and motivate yourself.

If you are in a situation similar to mine some days ago, I plead with you to push a little more. Your success is closer than you think.
