I believe in Karma and making good Karma for yourself. It's been a long, and sometimes difficult road so far in this life, but we each have that story, I'm sure! There is always someone who is in a worse position or place than oneself. I only recently took the adage 'one day at a time' seriously, or to put it another way, fully understood the term...today is the only day that matters, today is the only day you will achieve anything, tomorrow may never come, and worrying about the long term future is wasted energy, I have finally learned this after 50 years of life!

I don't believe in bad Karma. Some might see that as a contradiction...I believe we all have our lessons to learn, and when you come out the other side of these lessons and have taken the learning in a positive way, this helps you carry on and eventually you will be able to contribute in a positive way, for yourself and for others. On top of this, is where the opportunities reveal themselves for you to then create the good Karma for yourself...kind of like a reward...or even like a payment for services rendered...only if you take the opportunity though and act on it...it's a double reward...when an opportunity to create good Karma presents itself, we should take it, act on it with joy, because then you will receive your 'payment', and the opportunity will more than likely involve someone who needs our help, you can do this anonymously, no one has to know it was you, and it can be as simple as sending healing energy to someone who is ill, or opening a door for the person behind you...just being polite on a daily basis, picking up a piece of rubbish on the footpath or in the park...and not worrying that someone is looking at you...so many ways to create good Karma...and it is the natural law of receiving what you need.

I believe that by the time we get to the end of our road in this life, you should be happy and content and have all that you need. What ever this means for you, everyone needs different things, and different things make us all happy and content in different ways. We all think we 'want' different things, but ultimately you learn that getting what you need is what makes you happy and content.

For me striving for just those things - happiness, contentedness and having only that which I need until my last day on earth is all I 'want'...for lack of a better word. Why take anymore than you need, if you want more money constantly, I think on your last day you will have regrets, but if you want more money so you can help others, because this is something that makes you happy then I say go for it...so long as no one gets hurt...there are plenty of resources for everyone, and plenty of opportunities to receive what you need, like humanity, this is a constant evolving thing.

My focus is not money, this has proven to cause me pain and suffering, due in some part because I was never interested in money and therefore didn't hold it with much esteem and have struggled to force myself to physically earn it, I gave it a good go though when the opportunity presented, I'm not a complete 'money troglodyte' :) ...but it nearly killed me!

My focus and what has contributed to me joining WA is in finding the thing that is going to enable me to work for myself and be self sufficient, probably not so different from most of you, I am guessing. My previous experiences in my working life and my personal life, I do believe will help me on this journey, I believe that I have something to offer, and something that will help others in the long run. I don't want for much, but need to pay the bills, like everyone. I'm not looking to buy a Ferrari or a gazillion dollar mansion...my negative side says 'what a waste of resources, who needs those things', but I won't start that conversation here...or have I passed that point ;)

I am looking forward to being an active member here at WA and launching my websites and getting my message(s) out there, create good Karma, help a few other humans, and have enough to pay my bills...oh well and maybe one day build a little cottage on a block of land that I have spied down the road from me that is surrounded by poplar trees, and looks out onto a beautiful bay, in a quiet little town far far away, down south in the land down under!

Hi, Ora. Nice to meet you. I enjoyed reading your interesting bio. Thanks for following me back.

Do you happen to have exposure to American folk songs waay down south in the land down under? There's one written about you. It's called "Ora Lee" and goes:

As the blackbird in the spring
Neath the willow tree
Sat and piped I heard him sing
Praise of Ora Lee.
and the chorus:
Ora Lee, Ora Lee
Maid of golden hair
Sunshine came along with thee
And swallows in the air.

I think I learned one from your country when I was a kid...isn't Waltzing Matilda an Australian song?

Enough music appreciation lesson for one night! Guess I'd better get down to business. Welcome to WA and to my network. If you need help as you work through the training, don't hesitate to ask our awesome community for help.

Hi Carol, thank you for your wonderful message and greeting! I'm sorry but I don't know 'Ora Lee'...I used to go out with a guy called Lee though hehe ;)

Yes Waltzing Matilda is a classic Aussie tune...the jolly swagman, the billabong, the jumbuck and the coolabah tree... :)

Thanks for the offer of help...I've been away for over a month due to moving, but am getting back to WA more and more each week, slow process as I am still dealing with things after moving as it goes...

Good luck to you too, I see you are top 50 - go girl :)

Kind regards, Ora :)

Hi, Ora. Enjoyed hearing from you. I, too, am away from WA a lot due to getting my house ready to sell. Currently painting my kitchen cabinets. Such fun! (NOT!)

Forgot to tell you that the tune to Ora Lee is the same as Elvis's "Love Me Tender".

Better get back to my painting.

Take care.

Hi Ora, Thank you for the follow. I love the positive attitude. A wise teacher once said, "When you do a charitable deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing."
That sums up creating good Karma without seeking reward.
My main drive is to not be required to continue working a job as I have done all my life.
So I do not seek money. Or things.
I seek freedom.
Have a great day.

Thanks so much Dave, yes, Karma has it's own natural rewards, no need to seek them...

It is time for you to receive some good Karma...after a lifetime of working 'just a job'...I really hope you can change your life through WA...and that you find your freedom...that is what brings happiness :) All the best, maybe I will see you in Vegas :)

Thank you Ora for the follow and many blessings to you here at WA. If you need any help remember to post your question in the comments section or on live chat, and someone will be able to help you.

I created an informative training tutorial for all New Members that clearly explain the differences between the Certification Course and Affiliate Bootcamp.

I highly recommend that you do not start your WA training doing the Bootcamp. The Certification Course is the BEST option and I explain why in the following tutorial. If you have a few minutes free, give it a read and ask me any questions you may have within the comments section, and I will be happy to give you an answer.

I hope things are going well. I know you are getting rolling within the training and there is ONE thing that always tends to confuse people and that is "what is my niche?".

I know, same thing happened to me when I started.

I just wanted to reach out and let you know that I am here if you ever want to run any niche "ideas" by me or you have any questions about finding your niche.

Get back to me when you get the chance! :)

Hi Ora,

Welcome to the Wealthy Affiliate family. You signed up through me and I just wanted to let you know that you've made a great choice in being here. There really is no better place to learn how to start a business online.

It's free to browse the site and take the first 10 lessons of the starter training. You even get to create and host 2 websites at zero cost to you. Need to know something or have some questions? Merely post in the Live Chat or ask a question and the friendly and helpful members here will tell you what you need to know. You're also most welcome to send me a message and I'll help you out as best I can.

To get started it's best to add a photo and a few paragraphs to your profile. Wealthy Affiliate is a community based training platform, and the more 'human' your profile is the more people will likely interact with you.

After setting up your profile I recommend you check out the Getting Started training, which takes you through the process of setting up a niche website step by step. It's easy to follow and you can access the training here: It's great to see you here, Ora. Have a good look around and get active. You'll be so glad you did. And remember: If you upgrade to a Premium Membership in your first 7 days (well worth it for achieving online business success), you'll receive a huge discount off the price of the first month, paying only $19 for that first month instead of $49.

Cheers, Darren
