No Way - 100 Blog Posts in 146 days!
One thing about professional writers is that they understand syntax, punctuation, grammar and how to construct a storyline. They can write a compelling story that can grab your attention, make you riveted to your seat, have you spellbound and wanting more. Let me say quickly that I am not one of those guys.
I have never really been able to write incredibly well. So, when I started on my journey here at Wealthy Affiliate, I was incredibly daunted by the task of having to write a blog daily. I looked upon that task with horror. Particularly because I have such a very brief writing style. I am so not into fluff and being long-winded.
Day by day however I took on the task. It was painfully slow at first as I eked out each blog, sometimes one blog over 2 and 3 days. I did research, sometimes recalled a personal experience, or utilized stories related to me by friends. It took a little while but I got into a stride. So much so that here I am today. 100 blogs later in 146 days.
For me, that is incredible because of the sheer number. Apart from the quantity I also wanted in my writing to establish my own style. To do it my way as Sinatra famously said. I also tried to utilize different writing styles. Sometimes I have attempted a comedic style. Other times I have tried to be creative, serious and even trying to provide a bit of learning. All the while attempting to test my ability to write. I am not sure if I have done a tremendously good job but here I am continuing to write. I am even setting myself different challenges to produce even more content as I now have to feed 3 very voracious sites.
I am saying all this not to blow my horn but to provide some motivation to the Newbies out there and above that to say thank you to you all for putting up with me, reading my blogs, commenting in the way that you have, I feel entirely blessed to have 1300 of you as my audience and I really hope that you will stay with me so tat we can continue encouraging each other as we journey forward together.

Thank you for your very motivating blog post, I'm sure it will encourage many members. I find it amazing how quickly once we get into a mode of writing, the blog posts can quickly mount up. Over a period of one year, one website can have a considerable amount of posts.
I wonder if your next similar headline will be "150 blog posts in 150 days"! I believe it's possible for you Hugh.

Hey Roy very good to see you. I am tinkering with a 5-2 day approach. 5 days building content and 2 to do research build in a little slack. And for those 5 days I would look at doing a piece of content which might be a post or a video. We'll see. Thanks for the encouragement.

Hey William welcome to WA. What I did was set myself a small task which was to try to write just about every day. I did not do that because life has it's way with you however about 4 every 7 days is still a good rate. It then adds up. So set yourself a goal that stretches you a little and you too will have achievements that you will super proud of. Most of all enjoy yourself and make relationships with others along the way. Your way of blogging has definitely contributed to my own way of writing.
I’m not sure if it’s just a ‘man thing’, but like you, I’m a man of few words.
So you can imagine a complete culture shock when I joined the WA.
However, I took on the challenge. I can see my recent posts in my site are taking a different form and shape compared to the ones when I started.
The most important thing is, I’m enjoying it. And when family, friends and colleagues are appreciating it too.
