Yesterday I asked the community this very same question. I thought however that I would follow up with this more detailed blog, providing you with 3 concrete ways any one of us could make money online, with little to no money down.

Let’s jump right into it.

1) Compilation Videos

I know a number of you are deathly afraid of being in front of the camera or laptop to do a video. And no amount of coaxing will get you to do so. Well compilation videos might just be what the doctor ordered.

Compilation videos are simply a collection of similar videos. You could set up a YouTube channel and collect other peoples videos about funny cats for instance.

There are endless topics which could centre around Product Reviews, Unboxing, Gaming Videos, Pranks, How To Tutorials etc.. Do your keyword searches to see what’s most popular and you are off.

And oh yeah the money. Depending on the country YouTube can pay between $3-$7 per 1000 views. That could amount to a cool $7000 for 100,000 views if you can generate the traffic. Cha Ching!

2) Print on Demand

Do you have a creative mind? Can you draw? Are you good at making up slogans? Any of these would allow you to seriously consider Print on Demand (POD).

POD allows you to work with a supplier to customize products (like mugs, comforters, posters, note books, bags, hats etc.) with your own designs. These items which are branded by you are then put on to the sellers platform for sale.

If you are wondering, this means you do not have to worry about buying the product. There is also no need for you to trouble yourself about inventory, marketing or the logistics to get your product to the consumer. The more attractive your items the more you sell and the more money you will make.

So if your branded comforter costs to the customer $65 but you only have to pay the Pay on Demand supplier $50 that leaves you with $15 for that 1 item. So imagine multiplying that. Sounds good?

Some sites that do this are Redbubble, Zazzle and Bonfire. But please do your own research as there are several others that offer similar service, depending on the items.

3) Sell Stuff You Own

We all have items in the house or garage that we no longer have use for. It could be that brand new jersey granny gave you that is too small or that electronic game in the box your son never used because he thought he was too old.

There are a number of sites that have been set up to take these items off our hands. They include Offer Up, Facebook Marketplace (for quick sales), Declutter (for electronics) and Mercari. And some of these apps deal with marketing, pick-up and delivery (depending of course where you are). You just have to sign up, put in your contact and product details and you will be well on your way.

Of course there are several more ways that could offer you the chance to earn decent income with nothing to little down. If you know of any others please share and don’t forget to like. Really hope this helps.

Take care,

Hugh

eBay, here I come 🤣 I have some books and a few unused items I have been meaning to sell and even watched a video of how to do it late last year. Posts like these get us out of our comfort zones and at times inspire - my eBay channel is going to be busy some time this year. Motivation is good in this one Hugh 💪

Glad to have added to some pep in your eBay step Chris. Looking forward to you telling us about your channel.
Hugh

Doing your homework I see!!! Great suggestions Hugh. Question - for the video compilation, are there any royalties involved for using someone else's video content? Just a thought....

Maria

From the research that I have seen, no I have not read anything on royalties. The videos are not modified. Also since YT is a free platform it really is akin to a personalized room inside of YT

Hugh, you caught me!, I'm doing #3. There's stuff we have laying around that we don't need anymore.

I just sold two of my sons bikes he had as a little boy. You would be surprised how many thing you can clear out and make a little coin in the process.

Great ideas, Hugh! Thanks.

You are welcome Carol
