In this Day and Age, we have more Video Content than ever before streamed to us on a daily basis.

If that is the case, Do we really need a website in 2020 and are people still going to read it?

I do believe so.

Or else I wouldn't be writing this and you are not reading it right now. But I think you are.

You do still need a Website in 2020 depending on what your Goals are. Fact

The main reason that you do still need a website in 2020 is for the fact that especially now in this day and age of online skeptisism. You need an Online Hub where someone can see who you are and what you are all about.

Consider it Your Online Resume.

You need a spot where someone can go to see the person behind whatever it is you are promoting or selling.

It is so easy for people to hide behind computers and cell phones nowadays to try to sell someone something or get them involved into whatever it is they are promoting.

We have a higher reach than ever before and people who are up to no good do not need as many people on the hook, as they say, in order for their message to be bought and sold by the average consumer.

Your online hub or resume allows your target audience at least a glimpse of who you are and what you stand for before they pull out that credit card and give out their information that you require.

Even better if you offer a way to actually communicate with you.

Example. I have a phone number on this site that goes straight to me and I can actually talk to anyone that reaches out.

I'm a real person and I love to connect with people in my industry or clients. It's the community that I'm building around me.

If You Truly Want to Succeed with Affiliate Marketing

You need an online presence.

Especially if you are a Network Marketer and communicating with potential customers and partners, You need a Website and an Actual way for someone to get in touch with you on a more personal level.

And that starts with a Website.

You can have a blog that showcases your ideas, products and services that you offer as well

When You Apply for Affiliate Networks

You need a website for the affiliate networks to be able to see that you are a real human being and not just a computer program looking to send bad traffic to offers.

When you apply to join certain affiliate networks, having a website in place will make that request easier on you and them.

Some networks are easier to join than others and there are many to choose from.

After you apply, the network will do their own due diligence on researching whether or not to allow you to promote their offers.

If you have a website in place that has just a bare amount of information about yourself, the quicker you will get accepted into the network and you can start promoting and making money.

Which is the ultimate goal. Is it not?

If you are looking to be an Affiliate Marketer or have anything to do with Online Marketing.

You are going to need to have your Online Hub/Website up and running and in place.

A Lot of Guru's Will Tell You That You Do Not Need A Website

While you can still apply to many networks without the need of a Website.

When they ask for a website, give them your Facebook profile page.

If your seriously looking to have legivity in the game of Online Marketing though.

A website based around yourself or around your business definitely does not hurt.

Just my 2 cents on that

You're welcome! You too, Stephen!

I agree there is still a need for websites. As a publishing platform, it will always have value because that is something you can own as an asset while an account in social media platforms does not give you any ownership or assets.

Absolutely agreed
