Day 10: The reward of Discipline and happy hump day!

Hello dear readers, and welcome to day 10!

I posted another blog to my new website today, so you know what that means right? Another day to celebrate my commitment to this month's goal! It's hard to believe that I'm ten days into my 31 blogs in 31 days challenge this month. Frankly, I thought it would be more difficult than this. I figured I would be tired at this point or hitting idea bedrock. However, the truth is, every time I press that green "publish" button in WA's content tool, I feel a powerful sense of euphoria. When that dopamine strikes, I find myself chasing it with a desire to do more. I have to stop myself from writing two articles instead of one.

Why would I limit myself? The reason is that this isn't just about writing and posting 31 blogs this month; this is about discipline. The end goal is to develop a sustainable habit. Sustainable habits are critical to success. More often than not, habits define where we are now and determine where we are going. Our daily routines are habits that we've followed over the years, and if we truly want a different lifestyle, I feel changing our daily habits is the best way to start.

What do you think, dear reader? Am I crazy? Should I stop blogging? (not going to happen, fair warning, haha ) either way, I hope to hear from more of you as I strive to reach my goal this month; any feedback would be appreciated! :)

Until tomorrow Digital Nomads!

I say there is NEVER anything wrong with surpassing your goal! I say if you are up to it and you WANT to publish another one go for it!

You are already developing the habit of doing 1 blog post a day. (And nailing it!) Don’t limit your motivation. Because there may come a day that motivation burns out and you work on the habit you developed. 😁

You're absolutely right! The only reason I'm doing it this way is mostly personal. I want to make sure that I don't take on too much at once. It's a terrible personal habit of mine so In this case, I'm just trying to reinforce the habit so I can fall back on it if things become a bit overwhelming :)

Keep doing what you are doing, Kyle!
