Wow what an Interesting question, let me give you my honest take on that. I earned my first $ online way before I ever came to WA .

BUT, I came to WA for the hosting primarily, which is awesome and I have earned through that, with some of my referrrals.

However, what you learn at WA is this...

You learn how to build your own blog, on which you can either promote WA, I'd suggest its a good idea, when you consider the full benefits of what is available here, compared to other similar platforms, which I have been on and am not now

You also get shown how to promote the affiliate offers you are currently associated with, as in my case, my entire blog is full of timeless affiliate offers, which pay well and on time

The Affiliate Bootcamp here will show you how to earn money through some affiliate offers.

The emphasis is on building yuour list through as its your list which will pay you every month, along with WA if you promote that, but be prepare that it might take some time, and that time is dependent on how fast or slow you go, to earn money, as long as you put good content onto the blog, it will attract people as long as you sahre it

What you have to remember is this

YOU are YOUR OWN boss here, so its your business.

It might take a long time, depending on your efforts on your site. I saw my first dollar 3 weeks ago. It's not much, but that earnings signify that it does indeed work. It may take 3 months, it may take 6 months. Just continue to work on your site, do good keyword searches for better rankings, and the traffic will follow. With that traffic, potential sales.
