Some Weeks Are Tougher Than Others
Some weeks are tougher than others. There are times when every effort seems to flow well, and other timeswhen it seems the harder I push, the tougher it gets. When I think Iam getting the momentum going, the next thing I know it seems like Iam slowing to a crawl.
Even with that, I have two majorpositive forces going for me. One is my experience. Over the yearsI have experienced these same challenges numerous times on differentlevels and “made it through”. I have also coached new managersin businesses to make it through that “tough first year”, andthen on to success in achieving their goals.
The second main force I have in myfavor, I believe to be the most important as I venture into abusiness in which I have no previous experience. That positive forceis the support and inspiration I receive here at WA. The stories ofsuccesses, both large and small, from all members here. The wisdomand advice of those succeeding before me.
Those are the things that encourage meto continue in something I believe to be worthwhile, even though Isometimes wonder if I will ever get there. More than one ambassadorhas advised me to be patient and persistent. Even though I knowpatience and persistence are virtues, it is good to hear the successof others along the way.
So “cheers” to the tough weeks. They sure make me appreciate the smooth ones.
