The Good and The Ugly today
It's been a couple days since I was active on WA. Life had gotten in the way and.....the time got away from me.
The Good: So I finally sat down this afternoon to check my analytics and saw there was more user sessions. Yay! So I popped over to Jaaxy and checked my site ranking. #12 on Google! That's as high as I've ever been so I was excited.
The Ugly: I buckled down and started writing a new blog post (had all my research in my Site Content) and spent over an hour writing. Went to do a cut and paste and kept on typing not realizing the first third of my post had been deleted. ARGH! I did the Control Z trick, no luck. I went back to prior revisions, no luck. For some reason the first revision was where I started and the next one was after the mistake. Evidently the autosave wasn't working or something.
Now I'm frustrated and don't even want to begin rewriting---my research material is gone, too. Guess it's time to call it a night, tomorrow is another day, and maybe I'll write about something else until I stop kicking myself. LOL
Thought---I was hooked up through my phone hotspot instead of my wonky internet. Wonder if that had anything to do with it?

I know the feeling.I have lost complete articles after about 5 hours of researching and writing.
I have stumbled across one of those days before...
Sleep it off and start fresh tomorrow morning. You'll be flying again in no time. Keep moving forward.
Awww sorry you lost everything. Hopefully you will be able to get it back somehow. Take abreak and start over again tomorrow.
Sorry about your loss. I guess somebody here might know how to redeem the text.
Good luck. And of course congrats on the"good"..:)

Look at what you have done because I am sure what you have done already is an excellent piece of work, create a new conclusion and simply bring it to a close!
Pat yourself on the back, learn from the experience, take a break and think about your next post.
You are doing so wonderfully well!

Well, technology fails... sometimes. I do all the preps in my Dropbox folder. And the final touch in Site content. Luckily, all my final drafts are safe in SiteContent as well but I prefer double safety... Never know.
