Question on conflicting information on the use of keywords?

Thanks for the responses! But, why then would we be encouraged to use the "low hanging fruit" keywords that are NOT grammatically correct, and how/where should we use these low hanging fruit keywords? {confused :( }
Sometimes when people search for terms in Google they are not grammatically correct - so a phrase 'Christmas gifts horse' could be entered. You are going after these words but you will include them in a grammatically correct context such as '20 christmas gift ideas for horse lovers'.
However in your post you might also use 'festive gifts', 'equine christmas', 'presents for your horse'.
All of these are low hanging fruit keywords which you could get ranked for, and you then use them as naturally as possible throughout your content.
Hope that helps a bit! Marie
