i am in the affilliate bootcamp ,need to know how to go about choosing theme for website ? i am trying to promote wa ,extreme novice with computer & terms ,
There are thousands of themes. best to get some ideas from sites you like.
Find a site - maybe promoting WA, maybe something else, that you like the look of. There's a pretty good chance it'll be using Wordpress.
Enter the URL of the site in http://www.wpthemedetector.com - and it'll tell you the theme. It might be a paid theme , it might be a free one.
Or do a search on Google for the type of theme you like ' Best WP magazine themes 2015', 'Best free WP minimalist themes' etc
thank you very much, appreciate the intel, it sucks getting stuck every few minutes because of my lack of any computer skills, nothing beats a try but a failure ,im not going anywhere but up,its not beating me
Just learn by playing around with Wordpress. it's very hard to really break it or screw things up. Make a test site or two on siterubix - don't get a domain name yet. And don't think too much about making a real website. Just practice adding content, images, plugins, setting up a menu, changing themes etc.
And you can always change these later one. So once you know how WP works then think more about the content and don't worry too much about the theme. As new site worn tank overnight, you're going to have a few months of adding content and getting few visitors before you notice any real changes. And in that few months you'll come across dozens of themes that you could use on your site - eventually you'll see one that ticks the boxes. When you do, use it.
I've been using Wordpress for 8 years or so and still cant make up my mind what theme to use easily. :-)
I just updated the theme one my main site, took me three months. Because I found one theme, decided to use it. Then found something better, so changed my mind. Spent a month changing various things to make it fir with the new theme. Then last minute, I scrapped that after seeing a theme I immediately knew was just what I wanted. So eventually I used that.

i dont know if there are certainthemes for wa promoting?or maybe i dont fully understand this at all, sorry no computer skills or understanding the terminalology !
HI, there is no specific theme for promoting WA. What you can do is choose a theme and follow the training to build your website structure. If you don't like the look of your website, simply change your theme and everything will be moved onto your new theme, so you can experiment with various themes. As you start adding content to your website, it will be wise to take a backup before changing themes, just in case.
I hope this helps

I wanted to start building a website ,but i need a domain name & does that cost more money ?
Hi Milton,
Domain name is an investment, like the Wealthy Affiliate Membership, but you will have profit from it if you follow the instructions step by step.
Hey Milton,
Yes, a domain name costs money.
You can buy a domain name from Godaddy.com or Namecheap.com
The costs are up to $10 a year.

I like IconicOne. It is simple, elegant, and east to use.
