Since most of us are on social media, I thought I would share something that recently happened to me.

Last week I got an IM from a friend who shared how she had just received grant money from the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT. She was so excited and of course I asked her how she qualified. She gave me the number of the attorney who helped her and encouraged me to reach out to see if I qualified. When I reached out to the "attorney" I received a bunch of official looking messages and was told that I would also qualify. They seemed a little too eager to give me money but I decided to scam the scammer. I made therm believe that I would send them the neccessary fees in order to receive my grant money. I got their name, bank account number and routing number and turned it over to the federal government. So BEWARE because scammers are now using your facebook contacts
