Rules that I operate my business by:

I GIVE YOU PERMISSION TO BE OUTRAGEOUS — go out and fail, have fun, rock it.
1. Clearly written why: Why are you doing this? Tap into emotions.
2. 20 mile march: Small daily actions trump occasional huge ones.
3. Skill of reflection: What did you do today, did it work? How should you adjust next time?
4. Accountability: Who do you have helping to keep you on track?
5. Abundant Mindset: There are more than enough people on the internet to help you make a living. Help others. Don't worry about competition. There are abundant ideas and articles and posts to write. Realize this and you'll never have writers block.
6. Figure out the how later: Seize great opportunities and get the details arranged as you go. Don't be afraid.
7. Reach out for help: Try your best but don't get stuck for long. Reach out for help, then act on that advice.
Successes:
Week 1 SUMMARY:
Goal: Write posts targeted to keywords, interact with the community and trade meaningful comments, post on FB and G+.
Process: Write a daily targeted post. Give and take comments. Post on FB and G+. Take next lesson module and action steps only after the post for the day is written.
Surprise Success: I got a piece of organic traffic! I'm not sure if it's from a search engine but eventually the vast majority of traffic will be returning and organic so I'm excited to see this.
Went from 11.8 millionth in ranking down to 11.7 slow and steady. (used alexa.com)
Week 2 Goals:
Write 6 posts targeted to "Kids Stories" and subgroup keywords. Connect with comments and social media. Complete lessons 4.1, 4.2, 4.3, 4.4, and 4.5. Take the weekend off and enjoy family and friend time.
5.03.2015: Sunday
1. I am doing this to help people and their kids get a jump start in school and life and to set themselves up for success. I am doing this to generate a freedom based business so that I can help my family and friends and others do the same thing.
2. Today I'm writing another article that focuses on my "stories for kids" section that I'm building out.
3. I got interrupted with fine weather and yard work. I will have this article done before bed. I already started it and outlined it and that tends to be the difficult part. EDIT: Completed and posted article: http://thebestbooksforbabies.com/stories-with-stro...
4. I'm keeping this log for accountability and encourage anybody (who is serious about 'building' a business, as opposed to 'playing business') to reach out to me to start an accountability group or partnership.
5. There is an unlimited amount of stuff to write about. I just have to sit down and do it.
5.04.2015: Monday
Completed 4.1, 4.2, 4.3, and 4.4 training modules.
Personally emailed 2 new affiliate opportunities that I'm waiting on CJ.com for approval.
Signed up for clickbank, found 1 great product (buried by some crummy ones)
Wrote 2 new review posts for 1 new affiliate product. I'll do a review page for it soon, the affiliate product provided some great information for learning to read that I could use, so I did.
Traded some great comments
Added a google analytics filter to skim out an odd porn thing that was hitting my site 80+ times per week.
5.06.2015: Wednesday
I was contacted by an affiliate partner who loves my site and wants to help me grow the site traffic and further develop our partnership! I'm really excited about that!
Goal for today: Clean up site, establish a static frontpage separate from blog reel.
Week 3 To Do:
Instal Wordfence Security and WP-SpamShield
