Is it wise to pay for the use of Google Adwords, and only advertising using Google AdSense on your site. I just find it a lot easier when I stick to one method of advertising.
in the proper process of earning money through Google Adwords and Adsense, You can access a complete training on how to work on it here with WA community guide.
You are a premium already don't jump up. follow the proper training you will go in that lesson before you perform need to do some work for your site so that you can avoid any trouble in taking that step you wanted in a long run.
A lot of them here earn in that way.
If you think that your website is ready to perform for Adwords and Adsense, try to use the search box you can find a training on how to do that things :)

hi, what about add a text widget to your sidebar, and put your palm tree image inside the text widget.
You can follow this training to insert your palm tree image into your text widget. Creating a SELFIE Widget
So your text widget will essentially contains a short html code to display your palm tree. That's it.

Have you tried resizing th image you are using for your logo before adding it to the particular area of the theme?
Yea I tried to, but it automatically resizes...it says this about the header image, "Applied to the header on small screens and the sidebar on wide screens. While you can crop images to your liking after clicking Add new image, your theme recommends a header size of 954 × 1300 pixels".

I had changed it from custom url to default. When I had I set it to custom url and when viewing my website on a mobile device some of my pictures wouldn't load
