Our Mindset - The Key To Our Success

The reason most people fail when starting a business of their own is because they don't have the right mindset. If you are thinking of starting a business of your own, I have a mental exercise you might try doing. It may not seem important at first ,but once you have completed this exercise you will find it will benefit you through out your journey in any business adventure you choose to make.

Finding Our Reason - Our "Why"

Grab a pen and paper so you can write done some reasons why you want to start a business of your own. For example " financial freedom", "college fund",think about your personal reasons of why you are making the decision to start a business of your own. Then write them down on paper.

Our Goals - The Steps To Achieve Them

On the same piece of paper you wrote down your personal reason's for starting a business, write down the step's, or short term goal's that you will need to make to achieve the long term goal of having a successful business of your own. For example "getting a Domain". setting up a website"or Getting a business license". You need to write all the steps that are needed to take so you can have a clear understanding of what needs to be done, to reach the final goal of having a successful business of your own.

Doing this mental exercise,and by you writing down your "why" as well as the steps you must achieve, gives you a clear picture of where you are going and the map to get there. So all you need to focus on is right there in front of you. You need to make a commitment to yourself to put in the time and work needed to reach the necessary steps so you can reach the final destination. Your own successful business!

When You Reach Your Final Destination -How Does It Feel

Imagine for a minute that you have reached your destination. How does it make you feel? What kind of car are you driving? Where do you live? How much money do you have saved up in the bank? You get the idea! Now just put this somewhere so each morning before you start your day. A reminder of the necessary steps you need to take so you can reach your goal of having your own successful business.This is your map just stay focused.
