Wow! It's been a few days since I signed up now and I've already decided to go premium. I hope I didn't rush it too much. I love the abundance of knowledge, openness and pay-it-forward culture of this place and really hope it truly is as good as people say it is.
I don't like talking too much about what I will do - I prefer to just sink my teeth into the task and get started. As I start exploring the path to this new business adventure, I will try to post some updates, thoughts, challenges and other tidbits here.

I understand not wanting to talk to much and getting right to it but for this case, talking (writing/typing) might just help you make your website blogs easier as you test out your writing skills inside here before you post and publish them to the world out there.. just some food for thought..

Your point about the importance of talking/typing within the community is a good one and well taken.
What are the opportunities like for getting feedback on your sites/posts/writing here at WA? Are there forums for sharing, or should one simply email one's mentor?

There are a couple different ways to go about that. There is the formal way of requesting feedback through the request feedback button which requires credits. Credits are earned by reviewing others sites and leaving feedback. Give two quality reviews and you earn one request credit. Do 4 reviews and you earned 2 review request credits and so on. 2-1 ratio. Then you can always post your daily blog here like you do and put a blog like you would for you site. Test it out here and see what responses you get. If it is positive, then repost it in your site. If it does not get what you want, edit it some and THEN post it. It is never a bad post, always can be fine tuned and used.

Wow! That sounds like a really smart peer-to-peer system. A lot like photofeeler (a site where you can get your photos reviewed).
I will look into that straight away.
