How many affiliate link clicks until a commission?
I was just wondering what is normal for people clicking on affiliate links like Amazon. If you see 30 people clicking on the affiliate links and they don't purchase something, is this bad conversion or normal?
Just trying to find what is a normal ratio for clicks to conversions. Thanks.

It really depends, you could send 1000 people to an affiliate link and have no conversions, whereas you could send 1 person there and get a conversion.
It comes down to relevance and trust. Are your affiliate links positioned within your content where your audience absolutely NEEDS to have the product?
Have you reviewed the product/service that you recommend adequately so they don't have to go on to do further research, ie, are they ready to buy by the time they leave your site?
Is the product hyper relevant to the content and the pitch within the content, or is the a bust up in flow of relevance?
These are all things that you need to consider in respect to conversions. The more relevant the flow between the audience, the content and the product, the greater the conversions.
Typically you want to aim for a minimum of 5% conversions though.
Okay great. That gives me a general idea of what I'm shooting for. Thank you for the tips!
