Looking for help and advice to take my website further.
Hi everyone,
Firstly, thanks for reading this post. Basically I set up my website in August last year, I was off work for a couple of weeks with a bad shoulder and my wife introduced me to WA and I gave it a go. I chose a niche which I have a lot of interest in, and I don't regret it one bit, it's so easy for me to write content and keep it up to date. I did go back to work after 3 weeks and during October and November I found it really difficult to find time to keep posting.
This year though I have really got back into it, posting lots of new content and blog posts. But I must be missing something as I am struggling to get traffic through my website and still haven't made any money from it through my affiliates, which is starting to get slightly disheartening after all the hours I have put into it. I have plugged my website locally to try and get friends to buy things from Amazon but going through my website first, they said they did this but I still received no commission so I am doubting my links and if they are set up correctly.
My website is www.anythingf1.com obviously based all around the motor racing sport Formula 1, I am trying to achieve a depth of history and up to date standings to go with my personal reviews of circuits and where to buy tickets from with my experience. Then using affiliates and links to buy tickets and merchandise etc.
I really look forward to any help or advice you can give me, whether it's on how I can improve my site, or help with trafficking and affiliate links.

when people find a page online that is interesting how will they know there is merchandise.
probably look within post as they are reading
