I am trying to create a Wordpress account for use with Gravatar through my domain email. However, I never receive the confirmation email. I know I receive emails fine with my domai

Double check spelling :)

But what are you trying to do... Create a user account with your domain email?

You should be able to create the new user without confirming anything. The only email that would be sent would be the password and login info. Is that the email that you are not receiving?

I'm not trying to setup a Wordpress user on my site. I'm trying to setup Gravatar for my domain email, but when I make the account it sends a confirmation email I'm not getting.

The spelling is correct, I've checked my spam, and I've resent the confirmation email. Still nothing. The domain email is actually a forward to my personal gmail. I've confirmed it does work under most circumstances, but not in this case.

Thanks Nathaniell,
~Zachary

Ah, I see. Might just be taking longer. Have you tried removing the forward and getting the email from your Atmail?

I've been trying to get this to work for a couple weeks so it has nothing to do with timeframe at this point.

I guess I can try switching it to Atmail to see if it changes anything, but that has given me the opposite effect in the past. I'll do that now and let you know in a little bit if it affected anything. Thanks for the help!

Using Atmail didn't work, but I found a workaround. I created an account with my personal email address and added my domain email as an additional email on that account then set the domain email as my "primary". It still sent a confirmation email, but somehow I didn't have trouble with that one.

~Zachary

Glad you got it fixed!

Check spam folder on both accounts. I always forget that.

I've done that. I'm still not getting anything.

I don't know what to choose as a domain for my site. I need to buy my own domain, but all the domain names I would like are being sold for a few thousand dollars that I most certai

How about putting my in it or 4u ie: swiftpc4u.com

In one of their lessons, WA will direct you to namecheap.com where you can buy a domain for about $10 a year.

I am on that lesson right now. The problem is not how to buy a domain it's that I don't know what I want to name it and I was curious if anyone had any suggestions.

did you try godaddy? It will help you find domain names, when typing in keywords for your niche.

How about blazingfastpc? It's open according to Jaaxy. Best of luck to you! I had a lot of names begin held for ransom too :)

You sir, are amazing! Thanks so much!

I just wanted to come back and thank you. Three months ago I posted a question looking for suggestions for a name. I had a few names that seemed perfect but were not available. Then you came along with this suggestion and changed the entire course of what was a baby website for the better. Meet http://blazingfastpc.com/
