New Idea, what do you guys think?
So I have a new idea.
My site is slowly picking up, and gaining speed, but really it's still not anywhere near where I want it.
I've been thinking about this for a few weeks now, and I want to know what you guys think.
Because of my college schedule, I quit going to the gym, and now I follow one of those beach body programs (p90x, insanity) and i'm really loving it. I've realized that they have an affiliate program, and a huge product base.
I'm thinking maybe I should put my website to the side for a bit, and make one based on working out at home, and talk about these beach body programs. It's a much more targeted niche, and I feel like they give a lot of support.
What do you guys think? Any suggestions or ideas?

This has to be a judgement call on your part. If you are flagging with your original site - ask yourself why and if you need a change then set up a new one. Just realise - you have a lot going on in your life - so do you have time to keep 2 sites going or are you going to set the first one aside for good and start again?
That's a great point BIS, I think you're right, I barely have the time for one site! Yet alone 2.
two sites might be better than one :D I have a niche blog and a personal blog. Also have been thinking of a third topic to start another.
Follow your passions on the first few websites you do. It's always easier to build those out and it doesn't seem like work because if it's usually a topic you are passionate about than it's usually going to be something you love as well. P90x and insanity are pretty popular programs. I would check competition in Jaaxy and see what keywords you can fin on it. Check Google and Bing as well and look at the front page websites. Are you going to be competing against mostly authority sites on keyword phrases? Find a niche market by doing some research before building any websites. Hope this helps! :-)
Thanks, yeah I've checked out the competition and it is high, plus to be an affiliate you have to pay monthly, I think I've decided against it.

Well If you can do P9ox I will take my hat off to you.I am 43 years of age and I play tennis three times a week maybe more if weather is good,I bought the insanity program and could not even get past the warm up session;it was just too much for me throwing your legs up and all different kinds of exercises and that was just the warm up.
Then again if you did service out in Mexico you must be pretty fit, the beach body program sounds like a good one.
I bought one of those exercise Pilate machines just after Christmas and I have not even looked at the dvd on it.Its being motivated.
