Long Term Goals Will Get You Success, What Are Yours?

Alright guys, I wanted to post this here for a little while.

Something that I learned while serving an LDS (Mormon) mission in Mexico is the importance of setting goals.

If we don't have any goals, where are we going in life?

I especially know this to be true as a fitness enthusiast. As a guy who doesn't use steroids, I can tell you that gains in the gym come a lot slower then most of those supplement companies will tell you. It's why a lot of people quit going after a month, they didn't gain those 10 pounds of pure muscle that they were promised.

Which is too bad, if they had just stuck around for a few more months, they would have been surprised at the results!

Internet marketing is no different. There are a lot of people out there who will tell you that you can make 10,000$ your first month in internet marketing. Don't listen to them, the only money they probably make is selling to guys like us.

Truth is, you need to have long term goals, and in a few months time, you'll be surprised at the results! Sure a guy with 20% body fat won't be seeing his abs in a month, but in a years time he can have an amazing body! Same thing online, a new site might not have any traffic, but how much will it be making in a year?

That's why I set a one month goal, a 3 month goal, and a 1 year goal.

What are mine for internet marketing?

1 Month - have 30 more blog posts and 3 more product reviews on my site.

3 Month - Have made my first sale on my WA website. (I still make some sales from other sites, those don't count)

1 Year - Be making at LEAST $1,000 a month. I feel like this is a small goal though, and I may re-evaluate in 6 months.

There you have it! I find it helps to write them down.
