Am I Doing This Right?

Alright guys, so I've been in between part 2 and 3 of the certification course, I figure that while I write my blog posts I can write my reviews of products as well.

Anyway, I haven't been bookmarking the articles on my site, nor have I been submitting to street articles, mainly because I keep hearing that I should keep adding content to my site.

Am I doing this right? I add at least 1 to 2 articles to my blog a day. The only page on my site indexed is my homepage, probably because I linked to it from here :P

Am I going to see success doing it this way? I'm just afraid I'll be at 40 blog posts and Carson's gonna tell me "why didn't you submit anything to street articles or bookmark??"

Thanks guys.

It's always a good idea to put some articles on other sites for reference back to you as well as links to your site.

I don't know if it's a absolute necessity to write content to other sites or bookmarking your content. but I do know that it helps with ranking your site.

If you bookmark your content, more people are gonna see your stuff, since its seen in multiple sources, giving you increased traffic

Writing for article sites such as streetarticles or ezine etc also gives you backlinks and increases your traffic if you target the right landing page and write quality material.

Remember articles sites carry a pagerank... most of the popular ones have high pageranks... so when google go through those articles that you wrote to in article sites with a higher pagerank than yours they index your site faster.
