Rough Couple of Days Here at WA
I was on such a roll the last couple of weeks. I made great progress and was super excited.
Then came the time to actually start setting up the affiliate links and programs. For some reason I totally got discouraged because I knew that this is where the real work was going to happen.
I've been having fun creating content but now I really have to try and make money from it!? SCARY!
I took a couple of days off. I went solo hiking in Yosemite a couple of days ago, hit the Merced River the next day, went hiking with my guy in Tuolumne yesterday, and have been pretty much lazy besides that.
Sun exposure takes a lot out of a person.
Thats my excuse.
Then today after work I decided to get back at it and I was having the hardest time getting the Amazon links to work.
After about an hour and half of raging, wanting to quit or throw my laptop, they suddenly started working again.
I still can't make my picture links line up how I'd like but I think I will save that for another day.
I guess I can't expect to always have easy and exciting days. Stupid computers!
Really, I don't know why people are so afraid of AI. Half the time the WiFi doesn't connect in public places, and simple things like links and battery power seem to fail all of the time.
Robots are SO not taking over anytime soon.
Fingers crossed for a better and more productive day tomorrow.

I understand! ...But keep the vision. Don't forget the 40/20 rule (work 40 break 20) Ask for help and move on to something else till one day...you have a complete business that all it needs is traffic ;)

This is interesting. I'm experiencing pretty much the same things at the moment. Everything was going more or less smoothly till yesterday when I reached Level 3 - Lesson 2 where in one of the tasks, I was to join at least one Affiliate Network from the list of a few affiliates given. Well, I tried joining the first one "Commission Junction" and signed up successfully to it. However, as I was told to complete my profile details, I was taken to a page where I was to edit tax information and payment details (I'm from India). I got stumped there and couldn't go forward. I don't know what these SSN/EIN numbers are and without furnishing these information, there was no going forward. Then I tried the remaining affiliate networks in the list and things were almost the same there too. In one of them (I forgot which one), no payment option was allowed for Paypal. I will try exploring other options later but it's frustrating that I had to get stuck here. I'm in the middle of nowhere it seems at the moment.
Ugh, those moments are bad. I had a few bad days but I pushed through and I am back on track. Normally I would have quit when it first started getting overwhelming but I am definitely not allowing myself to do that again.
