(my eyes hurt from being on the computer so long)
Well, I made as much progress as I can for now. I am waiting to hear back about whether or not I will be able to affiliate with some companies.
I do wonder though, do people get denied often?
It seems like companies would want to partner with anyone that as interested in it. Fingers crossed that I get a couple.
I suppose until I find out I can work on more blog posts!

You should hear back from them soon. Yes, they do want you as an associate but some of them want to check your site to make sure they like what they see. My affiliate programs didn't take long at all to respond. I think they were all the same day or next. Just be patient or join other affiliate programs just in case.
