Hey everyone,
Since we are all still locked inside and working away, it can be easy to 'loose the magic' and feel yourself getting lazy. Here I would just like to share with you some of my favourite ways to keep my blogs entertaining for the reader - but also for me!
Tips on Writing Blogs
Use a STRONG Heading
We all know there is more to blogging than being the perfect writer, but it is important that your information is displayed in easy to read ways. It is important to catch the reader's attention right away to leave them wanting to read more...

Write about what you KNOW
This doesn't mean you shouldn't write about what you don't know - it means that you should educate yourself fully on a topic before putting information out onto the internet. If there is a topic you expand on where you gathered TRUSTED information, link the website in your article.
This helps build a relationship between you and the reader through trust & prevents the spread of misinformation.
Do your research!
Clear & Concious
Be sure not to add many large chunks of wordy content, instead keep sentences short and to the point. Use word choice carefully when adding detail and try your best not to have run on sentences.
"Watering your plants early in the morning is better for them because they have all day to try and absorb the water."
Does NOT read as easily as
"Watering your plants before sunrise will provide benefits that include; less stress on your plant, better absorption, and less evaporation of water."

Break up the Content!
What you can do to make your blogs look more inviting...
- Add Bullet Points
- Bold, Italics, underline, CAPITALISE important information to make it stand out
- Use headings of ALL sizes
- Make your links a different colour
Keep Pushing!
Remember, our blogs should be quick and easy to read but also pretty and fun to look at!
WA has taught me lots throughout the training, my biggest recommendation would be that!
Have a great day everyone!
