How many sites do you currently manage?

I begin with one domain, however, I have purchased 3 additional domains on subjects I am passionate about and I know there's a niche for them. I told myself I would not include any content until I finished the trainning on WA with my first website.

Now I am curious as to how many webistes people actually run at the same time. I've seen people posting screenshots of their yearly goals and showing 2-3 sites that they currently run.

Additionally, does creating more content to various niches make it easier for you once you have one niche? I also told myself that once I finished the trainning I did not want to start on my second website until my first website made a sell.

If anyone has any experience with this could you please let me know in the comments how you went about running more than one website at the same time?

Thank you.

Great question.

I guess it comes down to what kind of sites you are building. Niche sites or authority sites? There's a big difference.

A mini niche site is super specific and targeted. Because its so narrow (guitar effects pedals reviews for example) then there's only so far you can go before running out of things to talk about.

Authority sites on the other hand are a little broader with a never-ending things to talk about. You could be updating the site the rest of your life and still never run out of things to say. (A 'make money online' site or 'photography' site for example.)

In my personal opinion and experience having 1 or 2 authority sites is enough. I started 3-4 and and it's overwhleming because each site has a long list of to-do's.

It's better to have 1 site thats making you money and reaching its potential than 3-4 half done sites that go nowhere and your thinking and time is scattered all over the place.

My goal right now is to stop 4 sites at once. I just cant do it lol. Focus on one site, get it earning and then I can start hiring writers so I can move on the next fun project.

I hope this makes sense :)

Thank you so much for your input. I can see how that can be overwhelming. Yet, I currently have one site and it's more of an authority site where I will never run out of things to-do. Furthermore, I feel as if I am becoming an expert in this field that I actually enjoy.

I am also starting to publish at least once a day, eventually depending on my schedule, this may change to posting 2-3 times per week. This is a laid back month for me so I feel that I have the advantage to publish more.

Did you finish the training prior to starting on your other websites?

Looking back (I didn't realise it at the time but makes perfect sense), I learned everything with my first site. Yes I built it as I went through the training.

But with practice you always get better and learn new things along the way. My second and third.. and fourth sites (!) were a lot better, easier and quicker because I knew what I was doing. My writing was better, my overall strategy was clearer and more intentional.

If you're enjoying it then keep going! Sounds like you picked the right niche!

Sounds great. Thank you for your advice.
