Back to the basics: part i

So, I was doing my morning mediation songs. (I haven't done in some days). I didn't realize how much I actually missed it! It almost brought me to tears I missed it so, very much! (If you ever want to know the list of songs I can send it... Unless you can teach me how to legally download them into a playlist- Just sayin.) The words describe my life at any given moment- past, present and future... mainly present or future. I remembered how I can feel Every day when I do what is BASIC for me. Feels GOOD... Like HOME

The Basics: Part I

When I say back to the basics, I mean so much more than:

• meditating, stretching, Relaxing, being in the moment, appreciating everything that is around you- every person...SELFCARE.
• RESPONSIBILITIES- keeping a clean house, loving your kids, loving your spouse, paying the bills, being HAPPY (That's your responsibility, if you didn't get it the FIRST TIME).

Some may even DARE to say that those are CHOICES- not really responsibilities- HOW DARE THEY!

Think about it a Baby comes into this world with NO responsibilities- they LEARN and are TAUGHT responsibilities. To survive all they HAVE TO DO is- BREATHE, EAT, SLEEP and FEEL LOVE, in order for them to grow up and discover themselves- earlier rather than later.

We TEACH them what is RIGHT and wrong, GOOD or Bad, Pain or PLEASURE, Hate or LOVE, Light and Dark... You get it, all those opposing THANGS!. Some would even argue that these too are CHOICES. Most people have some code of ethics that has been ingrained since childhood, yet they choose to "dance to the beat of their OWN drum" and do opposite from their upbringing.

Think about this too, there are people in life who can fit the bill for all opposing ideas. We all have "criminals" lurking in the darkness perfecting his game to reach the "big time". There's a "sexual kitty" somewhere in the family, locked away being shamed into submission. I would even wager to bet, you will find a "GOLD DIGGER"- Scorned from searching for her "Sugar DADDY". Anyway we all know different people with different aspirations in life. Some you don't agree with- because you've been TRAINED. Some you do agree with, again you've been TRAINED.
