Getting back to writing after my holiday Covid experience
I'm back after taking about a month-long break after my recent abduction by Covid 19!
So many times I tried to concentrate enough to get SOMETHING done with my blogs, but I was exhausted and my body wouldn't let me.
She knew better.
There is so much wisdom in the body.
Christmas celebrations were canceled as most of my family and extended family also got infected one by one.
I'm waiting to hear now if my dad will be released from the hospital today.
Three weeks in and I'm still feeling the after-effects such as a lingering cough, slight congestion, and sporadic bouts of mild fatigue and shortness of breath. But I'm doing so much better and I'm ready to put my energy back into my blogs!
I'm just so thankful that my family is gaining back their health. My heart goes out to all those who are suffering this holiday season with illness or isolation. Take the time out for yourself that you need without guilt.
Your work will be there when things settle.
Happy New Year everyone. It's good to be back:)

*** hi Nicole!
"health is wealth!"
glad that you're feeling better -- yes, continue with self-care until totally back to wellness . . .
blessings to you & family for perfect health ... 🌸🙏 ... ***
So sorry you and your family went through this. Hope your Dad is okay and going home! I think your biggest point was, don't feel guilty if you just can't work on your blogs, it's okay to take care of yourself in times like this. Welcome back!

That's right! Forcing yourself to work when you're trying to heal can be counterproductive. Thank you, Palatia
So glad you're feeling better Nicole. Covid is a nasty illness and I'm sure takes time to recover from. I sprained my back a few days ago which may not sound much but the pain was excruciating. I also had to take time out as focusing on writing is hard. Luckily, my osteopath fitted me in yesterday, but still suffering! Wishing you a happy new year and speedy recovery
Nicole, so sorry about your experience
It is lovely that you are now back and ready to start working again
Please take it at your own pace.
The after effects can be as bad as the disease itself :)
Wishing you and your family a speedy recovery
Thanks so much:)
You're welcome
