When You're Reminded of Your Why
Another day down! I wanted to check with my WA family and let you know a little something about my day.
I'm working on my momprenuer gig in the evenings after my nine to five. Today I get a text from my son after school at 3:15 and it reads...
Mom, school is stressing me out!
And my heart breaks a little because when that happens I want to drop everything and let him tell me about his day and what happened but instead I had to respond like this...
Oh no, I'm sorry. I'll talk to you about it tonight when I get home.
:(
And I was reminded why this is so important to me.
Laptop lifestyle means so much more
Than sitting in coffee shops working or on a beach...although don't get me wrong...sign me up...
At the very core it means being able to do the most important thing when it's most important.
So I let that motivate me. After a really long day at work and then coming home and doing a family dinner and really connecting with my children, I was tired. But I know I need to utilize that motivation and do at least one or two important tasks for my website before powering down to get ready for another day.
How about you, how was your day today?

Oh my God, you just described my day! Same thing everyday, I feel like 24 hours is not enough. But it's temporary Nicole! Pretty soon we will have laptop lifestyle somewhere on the beach drinking mojito ;))
Thanks, Alona! The struggle is real. Yes, we just gotta keep going and that mojito is waiting!!!
Your WHY is the best motivator that is for sure Nicole and one day you and your laptop lifestyle will become one
Balancing life can be tough and you are doing the best with yours so go easy and all will fall into place

My day, well overall, I will rate my day a 94:
Started at my day @ 4:20am; Clocked in @ 6:00am; and it got better from that point, helping contractors and family recovering from the recent hurricane that hit our state.
Hi Donnie,
That sounds like a productive and purpose-filled day! My thoughts and prayers with your family and friends.
