When to Promote Wealthy Affiliate with people you know
I just want to advise and share, maybe even reiterate the importance of friendships and relationships you already have and when it's okay to refer people you know to Wealthy Affiliate.
As Kyle has said and I want to keep fresh for those who know, when you invite your friendsto Wealthy Affiliate be sure that it's something they would be looking for and benefit from. I'm sure it's easy to get over excited into inviting everyone you know, but be sure you do it for the right reason to help those you know.
I've been selective in those I invite because I know who would benefit best from, and while you can invite everyone, be sure to explain to them what it is.
Let me know your thoughts from your own experiences as well.

Hey do what works for you! You will succeed as long as you work for it and stick behind your belief.

Seems the folks are somewhat divided on this issue.
Personally, I feel we should offer it to someone who we know will reap benefit from it, but that is easier said than done.

It is a long journey they come out on so it's important that they are ready for it, I have been asked a few times and have been as honest as I could. There are many boats faster and easier ways to make money than Affiliate Marketing
I haven't found that to be true. As long as you learn to target the visitors with the money at the time they are ready to buy you can make more money in an hour a day than any 9-5 job with affiliate marketing. Hitting on just one popular search term last year made me over $300 in Adsense earnings alone and put 73 people in my network marketing business, and that's just one of the times I hit gold.
It's something that once I trained my mind I have done successfully for 12 years now. Train your mind daily and don't put limits on yourself and you can do it.
Where many affiliates go wrong is they think in terms of people like them and since 98% of affiliate marketers have little to no money and are looking for ways to earn it they promote to other people with low to no income. They choose products they could afford to buy instead of products in high demand for example. They use traffic exchanges and safelist to promote putting off learning to blog and do niche marketing, and they spend all their time advertising and little to no time thinking about who they intend to reach or what message they will give those visitors.
Wisdom right there. I feel I was that way with my first site in some aspects, but I've got a better handle on what I'm doing now. I'm excited to present my next site once it's running
It takes time and effort but you will find success if you're patient. It seems like a lot of people throw in the towel too early
I agree that you will generally know who will best benefit, and you will also know who will be willing to do the work and see the value of Wealthy Affiliate! I have some friends that I know will only believe it works when they see my success!
I do not believe in vomiting my opportunity on everyone I meet. It is far better to be interested in people, get acquainted, find a need and only then offer a solution.Even then you will find most people have a full life and are unwilling to add the uncertainties of being an entrepreneur.
Internet marketing is an adventure. You have to find adventurers before you offer your opportunity.
That's completely true! That's what I believe, and yeah lots of people that it would benefit still aren't willing to give it a shot.
I think you are so correct; not everyone has time or can afford premium and I am not sure if the freebie will work for those that cannot afford going premium or if there is enough information for someone to bud a great website and make good money from freebie; I would promote to family and friends but have very little success so next I will try strangers and give them the opportunity
Here's how I see it; invite, invite, invite. Invite EVERYONE you meet. Once they get here they'll gravitate to whatever fits their needs and desires. If you stop and think, can you honestly come up with one reason for any one person you know NOT to come to WA?
I have lots of people that just can't put in the time for the cost. They're too booked with school, work, new families, to try and start this on the side. I spend lots of tine, and it's still hard.
Did you forget the "free" membership? Ah, hah, no you didn't. The free membership would be just right for them. "The salesman that asks for the order, gets it." Keep asking. To tell you the truth I have never met ANYBODY out there who I have asked that, at first, didn't had some kind of rebuttal. Invite, invite, invite!
How many Facebook games do they play? How much time is spent on Youtube? I mean 30minutes to an hour a day is easy to scrape up and if they learn quick the 10 lesson free trial can help them start making money to afford the first month of pro-membership. Where there is a will there is a way where there is an excuse there is no chance of changing a life.
When looking at people to ask I look at crafty people, or hobby enthusiast, sports fanatics, and business people as the best parts of my warm or cold markets. Anything a person can be an expert in because they love doing it can become a blog and I look for passionate people with a can do attitude. It also helps if WA Membership will not cause them a financial hardship as not everyone can afford the $47 a month or $359 a year.

I personally don't refer any of my peers as their thinking is not there yet. To be honest, I was stuck in direct selling company, where I need to approach strangers and talk to them. Man, I try to find solution without talking to people and get rejected. Well, stumbled upon few expensive online marketing programs, and finally found WA. The best one alive! lol
