A Determined Ascent
Premium is a thing now!
I admit over hmm'ing and ha'ing over it. My financial situation right now is, well, complicated, but I have a roof over my head and my daughter is happy. Life is good. I decided to take the plunge and apply myself to the fundamentals. Training, step by step, to create and market a brandable niche. I've chosen a domain that I'm excited about, with keyword content articles lining up - at least, on the to do list. ;)
Not getting ahead of myself!!
When I first started I wanted to document everything I did so I can look back one day and just be humbled at the journey. I think the social aspect of this platform is a little distracting sometimes, so part of keeping focused is a slight withdrawal from the extras for now as I build up a rock solid foundation. I am absolutely absorbing the lessons, step by step, so that I may form this process into a standard, repeatable (and marketable!!!) skill that I can attain fulfillment and satisfaction from for many years.

Apparently I chose the slowest processing method, but that's alright. It allows me to focus on obtaining some content pieces to add substance to my rubix site in the meantime. I don't want to get too excited as I haven't accomplished anything near what my goals are now. I remain humble and determined. There is no doubt success comes to those that truly desire it, and work for it. It all starts with a conscious effort to put your best foot forward each day.
It all starts with the foundation!
Pictured above is the "Tower of Hercules," built by the Romans and known to have existed since the 2nd Century! Read more about it here, and you'll find out 34 metres of the structure is original Roman work! Now that is some epic ground-breaking foundation laying (no puns intended :P). That is how I view my success, in all things outside of WA as well. This is the mentality I apply to my new-found adventure: building something that becomes both timeless and sturdy.

... or something like that! :P I can just picture really successful people walking in circles. :D

I totally agree that our attitudes in all avenues of life basically determines if success is even possible at all! I feel as though, here at WA, the mentality is one of escaping the traps of complacency and pursuing pride and fulfillment!
