Site Comments vs Site Feedback
This week I've had to disapprove 2 different comments. First off, I hate having to do that. However, here is the thing. When you first do the site comments it tells you what type of comment you should be giving. The problem is, a lot of the comments I get are site feedback, not a natural comment on a blog post; which is what we are supposed to be receiving.
If you randomly go to a website that you stumbled upon the internet while looking for something, when you comment do you talk about the post you just read or do you leave a comment like this:
"Hi Dan, wow this is a great website and I really enjoy reading this. I like the way you have it set up and also like the way how you have added your affiliate links. It is interesting that (insert one response from the post). Thanks for the great article."
YOU WOULDN'T DO THIS
First off, thanks for the kind words. BUT what you are doing is giving me Site Feedback, not a Site Comment. A site comment should be a natural comment on the article you just read.
Let me give you an example of a quality comment. Let's say you just read an article on how to get out of debt. Here would be an example of a good site comment.
"Wow, I didn't realize how much the average person is in debt. It makes me feel better that I'm not alone with the massive amount of debt that I have. Just like you said I need to start by paying off my larger interest rate loans and then using the extra money from that to pay extra towards my other bills. I'm hoping to be debt free in 5 years! Thanks for the advice!"
This comment is simply talking about the article they just read and making observation. This is what you would do if you commented naturally in the internet world, so why not do the same thing when you are commenting on a post through the Site Comment platform.

Hi Daniel,
I agree with you on this subject. I also have had to disapprove a comment that had nothing to do with the content of my site. I would like to believe that it was just an honest mistake. I guess the more it is mentioned the more members will become aware of the difference between comments and feedback.
Regards,
Jerome
Yeah exactly. I realize this post has been done several times as I see it every few months or so, but it continues to happen.
I think every single member should write a post explaining this so nobody can miss it lol

I misunderstanding about this and next my comment will be better. Thank you for your post
No problem. A lot of people who are new to the site comments do this all the time.
