We all join Wealthy Affiliate either as a full-term entrepreneur or as a side hustle. However, the one thing that we all have in common is our zest to earn money.
Some of us has become very successful, while others are still in the trying phase.
Even though we all have the same training, we are sometimes led to believe that the lack of success can result from several factors.
So, today, I am asking you all to participate in this discussion with the 2 questions to bear in mind.
1. What's your biggest struggle in making money?
2. Would you care to share how long it took you to make your first $?

But am still in my training stage , I am also very positive that I will make money from my business , so am not worry about my investment

My biggest struggle Simone is getting conversions.
I made my first few dollars early on via Amazon and a few other dog Affiliate. It was exciting at first and I thought it would really begin opening up after that, but it really hasn't amounted to much. Nothing to really speak of.
I keep forging forward because, I know very soon my efforts are going to pay off.

My poetry book is also online in other markets such as Walmart and goodread.
I have used LinkedIn and Facebook to promote, but I'm not able to get anyone interested enough to buy.
My family and friends have congratulated me on the publication but can't get a single purchase.
There's one person on WA who actually purchased the book through Walmart, but that is it.
I have only had one person actually purchase my ebook, but so far no one else seems to be interested.
It may not be tonight because I'm getting the kids stuff ready to return to school after their half term break.
But definitely by tomorrow

I wish you good fortune with your poetry book. Do you have a pinterest account? That has been a very successful place for exposure....
And as you know, poetry is a specific niche within the writing/reading niche, and it's a matter of finding the poetry crowd.

My poetry book is a stand alone and is not associated with my Wealthy Affiliate niches.
It was a personal project for me.
Yes, I remember you sharing about that...
I dont know what types of advertising you've dome to promote your poetry. As a suggestion I recommend searching for poetry groups, search out other poetry authors and see what they are doing to promote themselves.
Create a Call To Action page to announce your book, offer to sell it to the first 100 subscribers (see, you can build a list, too) at a small discounted price.
Fine tune your search and look for groups that write about the same genre your book is about, if possible.
As a personal challenge to yourself that you are successful with, you can blog about your book as a side bar or on your about page, or create a new page for personal successes you have made since you started with WA.
Think outside of the box...😎

Have you tried Facebook ads?
You can create ads through your business page targeting a specific location and audience, then connect your WhatsApp to the page. Visitors can send you a message for more information.

I'll tell you what the biggest struggle is Simone.
Yourself, whoever you are.
You absolutely have to be able to fly alone, to fly into the storm clouds when it would be so easy to shelter. You must totally believe in yourself, and I mean totally, totally, totally.
If you go into this sitting on the fence, then guess which side you will fall on, the nice comfy side where all the grass belongs to someone else, because its easier.
Forget that.
I lost all my business with this Covid virus and got zero help from the government - and I mean zero. I had to live off my savings.
I could have given up but no, that is so not my style.
I started a you tube channel where I made videos on my niche, if you visit my home page I believe there is a link. My niche is very specialised and so I didn't expect overnight success. That was in June 2020. Joined WA in October 2020 to build a website to divert people to my YT channel.
February this year I began earning money and this has grown very very well. Money drops into the pot every day and yes it has zeros on the end but I had to go through 6 months of nothing to get to that stage.
There can be no room for complacency now. My followers expect me to produce the goods for them, in fact some have become internet mates. If you want things to grow it takes time and it takes a lot of late night nurturing.
I could stop now and just take a residual income but that is not good enough. If I want my French house back then I need to keep pushing and you know I will push.
So to sum up, the only struggle is the one in your own head that tells you to sit down and watch TV. Go for coffee and cakes every day. Do your internet stuff tomorrow. Write a nice blog on WA.
It doesn't work - until you kick all that into the long grass and stand up and face the storm you really aren't going anywhere. You absolutely must put your business first.
You have to do this for yourself.
If it is to be it is up to me.
Hope this helps with your "research", it's got to be worth a couple of medals at least.

As I read down the list here, I see that everyone can see the light at the end of the tunnel which is why I always ask, "Does anyone ever make it there.?
I see Ambassador on here with no money coming in yet. Is it because those who are already making money have moved on?
If there is anyone making a real living beside Kyle I do want to hear about it. I just wonder if they are even here anymore on these community forums.
Im putting everything I can into it so if it isn't where It should be in 3 years, you can be sure I will not be the only one that knows...lol.

Therebis no doubt that there are successful members here
The problem is that not everyone wants to share
Not sharing does not mean that they are not successful
but you would think there would be a larger percentage that would just do it so those that are barely holding on to their dream don't throw it all away.
We are trained to continue to tell everyone to keep going even if we have not made a dime. I will always succeed at what I do in one way or the other but there are others that are not as strong as me that could use that hope...just saying...
I do understand your frustration and that's one of the main reasons why I am having this discussion
