Are your customers INTUNED with your articles?
I wasn't inspired to blog today.
I have had a massive headache for the past 5 hours
I thought I was going to have a stroke
All the symptoms were present
Not sure if any of my symptoms had anything to do with the excessive cups of coffee yesterday
Or maybe it was my lack of sleep
In any event, I'm feeling a little bit better,
Still have a headache, but I wanted to have a discussion with all of you.
When you select a target audience for your niche, do you write as if that person would be reading your blogs?
Or is it written in a general sense?
How intuned are you with your articles and your chosen target audience?
Would you say your target audience could relate and connect with all of your articles?
Please bear in mind that it is our articles that contain problem-solving information that would lead our customers to our website.
There are so many pain points with each target audience?
How do you connect the dots that will take it from being general to niche-specific?
Does anyone write bespoke-type articles on their website?
Are your blogs written for everyone with no target audience to reflect on?
I look forward to hearing your thoughts, opinions and expertise on this topic.
Until next time,
Simone

I hope you are feeling better, Simone. Do you take magnesium? Check into that. It can help prevent most headaches. ;)
I have an idea who my target audience is. It seems to be working on my newest blog, as people are reading more than one article and staying a bit. I'm focusing on informational articles surrounding what they are wondering about (I think) and then getting them to my Money pages like product roundups.
Paula
That's really good Paula
Keep us posted on how that is turning out
I don't take magnesium on its own but in banana and spinach which I use sometimes.
Need to up my doseage :)
Hello Simone,
I hope you are over your splitting headache by now. Do you suffer from migraines? When I used to have bad headaches there was always a part of my skull that needed pressure to alleviate the pain. Tylenol worked for me most of the time. Today, when I feel the slightest sign of a headache brewing I take Tylenol and that seems to hold it at bay.
Regarding one's audience, this is what I do. I make every effort to imagine just one person in front of me who is looking for a solution to a problem. It so happens that the problem they have can be solved with what I can offer.
We have an imaginary conversation. I ask hypothetical questions and listen to their responses. I then offer solutions followed by getting a confirmation from them that this works for them.
Sounds like I am bonkers ha!
Another approach I use is to write in a storytelling style. Almost everyone loves to listen to stories. Especially those with good endings. In our business, we can come up with great endings.
What do you think?
Edwin
Edwin, I don't think you're bonkers lol
I think what you're doing is great
You are using an imaginary avatar to write solutions to their problems
That's fantastic
I used to have migraine as a child but this headache is caused by the excessive caffeine I had the night before
Simone my friend, with your medical background and all the symptoms of an eminent stroke, the first thing I would do is seek professional advice.
I am happy to hear that you are feeling a bit better, but isn't it worth getting things checked out?
A mini stroke can always lead to a more serious one.
Aa for your question, I have read Phil's response below, and believe there is nothing more to add.
Take care of yourself my friend.:-)
Nick, thank you for your kind words
I did an immediate assessment after my symptoms
All were within normal range
It was definitely the excessive coffe
It is now 3:13 am and I've just woken up.
Headache has eased a bit.
Please be assured that had I observed any signs related to a mini stroke or even a stroke, yes, I would have to get myself checked out :)
Glad you found Phil's response useful
Hope you are having an amazing day
I'm happy to hear that you are feeling better now Simone.
Please take it easy on the coffee in the future my friend.:-)
I'm pleased that you have Simone.
I gave up coffee a couple of years back, I never really liked the taste anyway, but would only have one or maybe two to wake up in the morning.
Now I prefer green tea, with fresh mint and a small spoon of honey when I wake up!
It tastes much better without any of the horrible side effects!:-)
I have to admit that green tea on its own doesn't have the most pleasurable taste Simone.
But with a bit of honey and mint, it changes drastically for me.
We all need to find what is best for us my friend!:-)
Have a blessed night and speak with you soon ok.:-)😇

Hope you are feeling better by now Simone.
To answer your question - I try to.
When I write I do so in a conversational manner as though I am having a direct and personal conversation with the reader (or viewer, listener).
That's why I say "You" and use similar terms vs saying you guys etc. most of the time.
Beyond that, I really love to write (and create content ) for people I have direct experience with what they are going through and the challenges they face.
That especially includes real estate, trucking, small business/entrepreneurship, and management/leadership/training topics and niches.
Thanks for another nice post Simone!
Best regards,
L.D. Sewell
Thank you, L.D
Not 100% yet there my friend
Still keeping positive
You have a real connection with your readers
You know their pain points and your blog speaks directly to them
You're doing it :)
