At this point down the path of life, I think I need the insights of someone wiser and more knowledgable than myself. I feel like I have stalled out with over a year and 3 month
Hi Josh. I just posted a blog post about my predicament as well. I haven't been in the game as long as you but after 9 months of work,I have found another source of income that literally made me money within a week, without putting in much effort.
I am not going to give up affiliate marketing, in fact, I am going to keep publishing content because i enjoy it. And if it makes me money then great.
I know this isn't a positive response but I have come to similar realization.
Thanks for sharing. Believe it or not but mere minutes after posting this question I saw in my email that I had finally received payment from a company that I did some photography for. They where over a week behind on payment and they had ignored my email up to that point, so I thought they were about to ghost me and never pay what was agreed upon.
I used my affiliate marketing endeavor to attract their business so yesterday marks the very first day that I had earned anything from this effort.
Anyways, thanks for sharing.
I see you have only completed level 1 of the training and you have been here for just over a year as you stated.
Perhaps going through the rest of the training will surely help you out further.
Follow the lessons apply what you have learned and also look out for training from other members that can help you out.
The training here is your best mentor given by Kyle.
Wishing you well
Andre
To be honest, the levels are a little dull to me. They're filled with vagueness and stuff that doesn't seem important. I feel honest when I say "I hate WA training". But... I think I will take a look at Level 5 tomorrow because content creation is what I find to be so damn hard.
Thanks for commenting.
You are most welcome but you will find thinking in a more positive way towards the lessons will certainly help.
When one feels things are dull a positive attitude towards success becomes less and that is when things seem dull.
Perhaps you may know some of what is taught already but there will always be even a tiny aspect that can easily be missed out thus not filling the complete puzzle.
Hence is the reason why we need to follow the lessons in the order given and focus on what is being taught and applying that part to our websites.
Just believe in yourself and take out the negative thinking patterns we are known to have, such as hating training or going through the motions of learning, feeling things are getting boring, take out time off to get things done,
We all need to be patient not only with what is given but also within our selves on a deeper level (I include myself in this too).
We have been conditioned in so many ways in life that the slightest of obstacles can put us off track, that is why the need to refocus on what is important towards the goals we aim for the right reasons.
Note
Here in WA the right reason is not money (which for most here is our undoing) but helping others via our websites first, the rest will follow.
This is why we need to persevere with a different frame of mind when going through the lessons.\
As Dr. Wayne Dyer stated
"When we change the way we look at things, the things we look at will change"
Let that absorb within you and you will find more peace within yourself to take you further forward towards your goals and dreams when that is done they will become a reality.
Wishing you well in all you do.
Andre
Get connected and follow lots of people. There are some who will tell you, if you need any help, let them know. Lots of people here are willing to share their wisdom. I just started here a week ago so I don't feel qualified. But I can say, just follow the training, read other's posts and training and blogs. And you'll feel like you have More than enough input to give you confidence. :)
Hi, I think WA is a great mentor for us. I for example started less than 1 month ago and one of my Posts is on the first page of Google.
Am I earning anything? Do not. Unfortunately the process of checking the affiliate programs and Google to put advertisements is very slow and so I'm out of pockets empty. But I believe I'm on the right track.
I saw people saying they mentored some people and it did not work. Others say it went very well. It depends on who you pick up to do the job.
But what I really think when we learn. My friend. No one holds us.
Good luck

(it's lookin' bleak) how do I find a mentor?
At this point down the path of life, I think I need the insights of someone wiser and more knowledgable than myself. I feel like I have stalled out with over a year and 3 month
You’ll find no better mentor than Kyle and that’s exactly who you have available to you through each step of this training. The question is are you allowing yourself to take full advantage of everything that this training is offering you? How far along in the training are you? How many posts are you writing for your website weekly? How active are you with building your site?
If there was a point where you felt a block early on in the training, don’t be afraid to go back a few lessons or even to the beginning if your momentum has completely stopped. Take the time to fully understand the tasks asked of you. Type questions you have into the smart search bar at the top of your WA dashboard and this opens you up to the experience of so many others here at WA through their questions and training.
Take full advantage of the mentor ship you have here in the community. You’re not alone in this!
Truth be told, I haven't completed any lessons. I'm 96% through level 1, 80% through level 2, and 39% through level 3. The lessons seemed to get less engaging and seemingly less important. I basically just stopped. Even though I dislike the training and the apparent vagueness of the subject matter, I think I'm going to bite the bullet and revisit it tomorrow. At this point, I pretty much forgot about it entirely but you have now reminded me.
In May, I went on a month long break from publishing articles and worked on creating videos for YouTube (and whatever video streaming site that values free speech that I will eventually start using.). I also started using "social" media so I can build a following that way. I am back to posting intermediately and I shall work at posting 2 times a week and then get up to 3 times a week.
Thanks for chiming in on my post.
Well at least you know why you've stalled out. The whole point of paying for this training is to follow it, right? Don't take this the wrong way but you're completely backwards with your thinking here. Hit the reset button and realize that each lesson and task is more important than the last, but they won't be engaging if you're not following them. Success is 100% built on consistency and following each lesson every step of the way. The training is proven. So now you have to follow it. :) If you're here, that's the only way to attack it.

I get that this may not be directly related to affiliate marketing but I'd imagine we got a lot of photographers in WA. I took some product photos (4000p x 4000p, 6000p x 6000p
It depends on a lot of things..... My photographer friends and I charge various amount for a variety of pictures. There are so many variations - wedding photgraphy, product photography, real estate photography...
You need to research your market. You need to know what you customer would have to pay if they got someone else to do it. You also need to be aware if they could use free stock photos that are available online as well.
It will all depend on your business plan, the quality of your photography, the amount of work required to take the photographs etc.
You should determine the amount that you want to charge ahead of time if you are doing contract work.
I sell many of my pictures sell as prints via my shop.
I charge by the job for real estate photography and event photography.
Best wishes.
How much do you charge for your photos?

So, I just bought the premium version of GeneratePress and it was underwhelming and probably I waste of $50. I am now wondering if SiteOrigins Premium (wigdet bundle) is worth
Most likely, you didn't go wrong with Generate Press as it is a very highly rated theme from the research I have done.
It appears that you are looking for a lot of design flexibility so, before making your decision on Site Origin, you may also want to research Thrive Architect and Elementor to see what would meet your needs.

As someone who loves free expression and the free spread of information, I want to know how to auto-approve comments that are posted on my wordpress site. Does anyone know if t
Josh,
Freedom of expression is a great idea. However, do you really want to approve every comment?
Some comments could be irrelevant to the ideas oresented in your article.
Thanks for responding.
Yes, the only comments I could ever see myself deleting would be spam/fraud/phishing/scams. Everything else is fair game no matter the subject matter within the comment.
All well written comments help with SEO and ranking. So automatically approving would really not be beneficial.
Not if the comments are crap!
Also if they are being approved without you reading them and responding, you are missing out on a potentially huge amount of content.
Believe me, I read all comments. I just don't want to have to approve them. I want them to be posted immediately.
Now, that's an original question, Josh!
I'm not aware that this is possible (and are you sure you want to?!).
My experience has been that a certain percentage of comments are inevitably going to be spam; and I'm always glad to remove them tout suit!
-Laurie
Thanks for the response.
Things that are genuinely irrelevant spam, I would just delete after the fact. I would want to auto-approve comments so that conversations between visitors could happen more quickly. Furthermore, I don't like the idea of approving comments because I'll approve just about any comment even if I disagree with it or if I find it insulting.
