I only installed the website (WP) but wann come back to finish building. Should it
not be unpublished ? In other words..not live
Hi,
I have done the same thing. Purchased a domain and did not work on it until a couple of days later. When you are ready to start working on content (pages) you will add the domain into Google Analytics and Webmaster Tools. Once you do that, your website actually will become public to Google. As you publish pages they will also get noticed in Google. However, it may take a couple of days before Google indexes them.
Bottom line, work on your website when you are ready and have the time.

Once you have installed WordPress and attached a domain name or used a siterubix domain, it is visible to all. There is no way you can unpublish it. If you have not published a post or page then a default screen will be visible to anybody who knows the domain name and tried to access it. The default screen will be depending on the theme you have selected.

You website is already published. There is no turning back now.
Eventually, it will be indexed especially if you start putting content on it.
Take your time and grow a beautiful website.
