There should be a main thing that exists within you -- the thing that fuels you, that motivates you, and that keeps you engaged and attentive in life. The MAIN thing should be a career, or even a hobby - it should be a state of being / state of mind; a life dream, or even a specific career path. It does not matter what the main thing is, you should fight to keep the main thing, the main thing. This can be easier said than done. Here are some ideas for identifying the main thing - and keeping it the main thing -- in your life.

1) Analyze your present situation - review how it is that you spend your time. Think about what is it, that exactly motivates you, and are you on the path you want to be on.

2) Take the proper measures to make the main thing, a huge part of your daily routine. In order to make your "main thing" a centralized part of your daily focus; you must place it exactly where you can see it - do not put it aside for specific days, you must focus on feeling a passion for it every day of the week.

3) Minimize your "do not do checklist". Create a mental listing of things that you do, that may hender and block the pathways to your achieving your main thing. What are the things on your checklist, that could potentially or presently get directly in your way - blocking your progress.

Life is short, thus, the main thing - in order to keep the main thing, a "MAIN THING" in focus - it takes determination, perserverance, and a consistent daily work ethic, to keep the main thing in focus and a priority.
