Characteristics Of An Online Business Owner
Ladies and gentlemen, friends, and coworkers. You are my coworkers because we are looking to accomplish the same goal. "To become a successful online internet business owner."
Customers who surf the internet will find us if we are in the right place. We must connect with our customers because they are the backbone of our business.
An online business will provide us many comforts. They are:
1. The opportunity to work at home. We do not have to get dress and make a 9 to 5 jobs.
2. They bring our customers to our door. We can communicate with them on the internet.
3. We can deal and work with companies even though we don't see them.
4. We can make money by reaching out to our customers and companies.
5. The internet helps us to connect our online business to the world.
If our business is to thrive, we must communicate with our customers through social media. We must be in touch with Google, Yahoo, You Tube, Facebook and many others along with Word press. The internet is a giant. The internet provides these websites for us.
The internet online business is growing fast. We want to grow with it. We want to become leaders in the online marketing business. We have the self-esteem to do so.
Smith, F. (1996) emphasizing that leaders must possess qualities that make people like them. When great leaders speak people listen. Leaders possess personal qualities. They must have passion, humor, and empathy strength of character, general maturity, patience, wisdom, common sense, trustworthiness, reliability, creativity, sensitivity and self-esteem.
There are four conditions of self-esteem: Connective, uniqueness, power and models.
1. Having a sense of being connective is all about:
. Identifying with a group of people.
. Feeling connected to a pass heritage.
. Feel that we belong to something or someone.
. Feeling good about our relationship or what we belong to.
. Know that the things or people we belong to or considered in a good light by others.
. Feeling that we are important to others.
2. Having a sense of uniqueness is all about:
. Knowing that there is something special about one's self in spite of recognizing that we are like a lot of people.
. Being aware that others think we are special.
. Being able to express ourselves in our own way.
. Respecting ourselves as individuals.
. Enjoying the feeling of being different without having to make other feel
Uncomfortable.
3. Having a sense of power is all about:
. Feeling that we are in charge of our lives.
. Being able to use the skills we have in situations which require those skills.
. Feeling that we can make decisions and solve most problems that we encounter.
4. Have a sense of model is about:
. Knowing people who are worth emulating.
. Feeling confident that we can distinguish right from wrong and good from bad.
. Having values and beliefs which can consistently guide and direct us.
. Being able to make sense of what is going on around us.
If we are able to keep all of these things in our heart, in our mind and adhere to a course of action, belief or purpose our online marketing business will be a success and we will become a tremendous body of online business owners.
