A change in words.a change in philosophy
Sitting here, digging into the WA training and, a feeling of being overwhelmed starts to cloud my mind. It's getting late, and it feels easy to just give in and say "I can't" do this tonight because I have to get up really early for work. I'm tired. It was a hectic day. All the usual things that creep in to my mind.
As I was getting ready to shut it down, a thought popped into my head......what I was really saying was "I don't want to"! And so, as I thought about that for a bit and really let that sink in, it occurred to me that that simple difference in phrasing totally changes the way I want to think about things, and how to challenge myself.
Imagine, every time you tell yourself, "I can't" you change that to "I don't want to". Now, instead of saying "I can't figure out how to blog" you say "I don't want to take the time to learn how to blog". "I can't lose weight becomes I don't want to change my eating habits so I can lose weight."
If I let that simple change of phrase become my new mindset, I truly believe it will help me be honest with myself about what's really holding me back and challenge myself to achieve more, not only with WA but in all facets of my life!

True, Neil, but I'll go a step further and simply say I CAN!
