Hanging in there
This is my first blog, never have done this before. I want to say that this is the second time that I have joined the community of WA and I am once again stumped. I am a retiree living on a small pension who has to watch just where every penny goes, and this is the reason that I joined again. I have to generate some additional income, yet I am afraid that it will take too long as internet hosting, setting up websites and all the things that go with affiliate marketing is all confusing to me. Yet, I am going to try and hold out for a couple of months. I am hanging onto strings to get by on what little the government pays me per month and doing it alone as I was recently divorced. I am not asking for sympathy, Lord knows I am a proud woman. I just need support and assistance from all of you wonderful people out there.
I have gone over the lessons over and over, have attempted setting up a website (am stuck there) and for a few days have taken off and done nothing because it all gets to me.
Today I am taking my driver's test all over again, at my age. And I am hoping that I can afford a car in a couple of months..not a new one, just one to help me get myself and little Oscar around. I left my small town over six years ago to get away from a family who was toxic, however I am much better emotionally today. I have formed a new "family" of sorts within my community where I live now, and they are better than family. I am sure that some of you out there know just what I am talking about.
So, I have read lots of stories here and this is mine. I hope to one day write a book and have it published, but again it takes capital to do this. Again if WA is the ticket to helping me accomplish my last chapter, it would make me extremely happy.
Thank you all for reading.
Anita

Hey there! Just wanted to share with you what I have been doing to succeed here on WA. I am a newbie as well and find this all confusing. But, what I am doing is joining in on the live chat over and over again and asking my questions as I go along. I also private messaged upsgirl. she is so sweet and has been helping be step by step. others to msg are JeanL, GarySkoglind. They are great to ask questions and get answers! :o) You may also private message me anytime you'd like! Don't give up! Just keep at it and ask a million or more questions! :o)

Hello Anita
I read your blog just wishing you onwards and upwards, I can feel your frustrations but, without wishing to sound twee, we can be your second "new" family after the local community you find yourself in now.
We are here for you, to give you all the help, support and assistance you need along the way....all you ever have to do is ask when you need it.
You already know deep inside you that WA is your financial way out of the limiting fixed income you have now because you came back so please do whatever it tales to stick with it this time.
I think you probably did a good thing by giving yourself a break so maybe you can come back to it with fresh eyes and hopefully having passed your driving test.
You've already shown emotional strength by leaving a toxic relationship and starting over somewhere else so you have got grit and determination..use that here at WA and with our help and you'll never look back.
Good luck Anita

Mark, I thank you so very much for your kind words. You have no idea just how much they mean. Yes, I have been down a tough road, and now with my "family" in my town and my WA "family" I certainly hope to make a go of it. Thanks a bunch:) Anita
You're very welcome Anita...got to help you get that car for you and little Oscar!!
