"acceptable use policy" problems with mailchimp?

Here is what they themselves say about this issue:
MailChimp doesn't stop campaigns that contain any affiliate links, just campaigns that contain URLs that are on blacklists....
While affiliate marketing is fine under certain conditions, we do not allow affiliate marketers.
So I am not sure what list you were using and how you obtained it OR what affiliate links but you would run the risk of this with any autoresponder service.
Disclosure - I use Aweber.
My mailing list only had 1 person in it, and he/she subscribed to the list himself/herself.
I had zero affiliate links on my site. I haven't even started to monetize yet, you can view my site over here www.wealth-academy.net. I did not include a single link in all the email campaigns that I drafted up. So I'm really puzzled as to why they shut me down.
Oh well, if they don't want my business, I'm happy to go to AWeber.
Nicholas...Well that is very very strange. It doesn't seem to make any sense to me. Your site is lovely by the way.
Yeah, I've tried digging around on Google. I can't really find anything. Mostly just affiliate comparison posts claiming that online marketers/affiliate marketers should use AWeber instead of MailChimp. This is just sad.
Thanks, by the way! I do my best. It's my first attempt at building my own site. I've always relied on my partner for the coding/programming of all our sites. This is the first time I'm venturing out on my own.
The WA community as a whole has been very warm and helpful, yourself included, Roberta. I appreciate the help.
