Overwhelmed? Create Baby-Step Goals.
Recently, I created a plan that was hopelessly flawed.
It was flawed because every single day contained far more than I could realistically complete.
Consequently, even if I got quite a lot done during the day, I felt I'd fallen short by the end - as I wouldn't have managed everything on my list.
So, I cut it right back. I cut it back further than I thought was necessary.
What happened? Well, not only did I manage to achieve those things on my list each day, but I managed to achieve more than I had been previously following the over-ambitious plan.
I think often when we feel too overwhelmed with the things we have planned, it can stop us in our tracks. Suddenly we don't feel able to do any of it and just put it off.
Whereas, if you create a schedule that seems completely manageable and not at all scary, you may trick your brain into doing 10 x more than you would otherwise.
I guess everyone is different in this respect, but this is something that's helped me recently.

Being overwhelmed for me was frustrating and set me back further. Baby step goals really do work... I like to have a weekly and then out of that decide what my goal for the day will be. If I feel I'm not making my goal for the day I juggle my other daily chores to somehow make it work... which means sacrificing my bootcamp workouts but I still manage to do stretches and lift a few weights because sitting all day isn't good either.
