Money on My Mind

Since signing up to Wealthy Affiliates, I have been devouring information to set up a strategic LONG TERM business plan. I want to have long-lasting business, that could potentially earn me a full time income.

I have realized that the most important step to my road ahead, starts with me. Starts with re-framing my mind.

When I signed up to WA, the number one thing on my mind was how to make money, it didn't have to be fast, I was more than willing to work for it, but of course when I initially signed up it was with money on my mind.

Now I am Training to be an Ethical Affiliate

I want to be an Ethical Affiliate Marketer:

  • The kind of affiliate that gives Affiliate Marketing a good name.
  • The kind of affiliate that shows others, Affiliate Marketing isn't just another scam.
  • The kind of affiliate that prioritizes helping others over making a quick buck.
  • The kind of affiliate that would honestly never recommend something to you, if I wouldn't recommend it to my friends and family, first.
  • The kind of affiliate that is contributing to making the internet a better place.

Too Many GURUS

Too many people are learning their business strategies from unethical affiliate practices and techniques, and as a result it is really souring the name of other ethical affiliate marketers.

I have made the decision that I am going to be one of the good guys. It might take me longer to get started in the online business world but I am confident it will give me a longer future success, if I can create a business with my moral compass attached.

I am Committed

To making quality content, while providing what I hope to be of real value to my readers. So that even if they don't click on any of my affiliate links, they will leave my site feeling well-informed on the topic that initially brought them to my site. I am committed to being an ethical affiliate. I am committed to my success.

Natasha, Thank you for a well-written Post!
Interesting, providing for provocative thought for those who have been in business for a long time!

Being in business, either profit or non-profit means we have a need to work for an income.💰

Being an affiliate means we receive a commission from the sale of a product.

While we should be aware of our transactions as good business people, we don't have to as you say "have money on the mind"!
Greed does not pay in affiliate marketing or anywhere else.

    God Bless and Good Luck!
    Janice 🤗🌷

I couldn't have said it better myself.
    Thank you, Janice
You are such a kind person 🤗

    Thanks for the hugs!🤗🌷

I don't have money on my mind because that way I may be enticed to take unethical short cuts. Because of this, I class myself as an ethical affiliate who gives good information to potential customers.

Great attitude and a wise one too.

    Thank you

    Awesome, Natasha.
Ethical Affiliate? That is why we are here.
Your intention is good and right. Keep it that way.
All the best to you and your family.
BTW you got a lovely and beautiful family profile pic there.

    Thank you!
And to you and your family as well 😊

Hello Natasha, you are absolutely right that ethics play a role in a sustainable long term business. However, industry practices does not always specify 'correct" and 'acceptable' behavior. This is the reason why we have a very large "grey" area versus pockets of 'black and white.' Short term gains far outweighs right behavior. The faceless internet where people hide behind avatars may also contribute to poor practices that are less than acceptable. We hope that we can together make doing business online whether affiliate marketing or otherwise something we be proud off!

Hi Natasha. You have excellent, healthy ideals. Being ethical in affiliate marketing is what WA is all about. I totally agree with you. Jim
