To content or to design?

So, a about a week ago I was in a conundrum. My blog looked shit. I a very visual person and when I have a vision in my head and it doesn't turn out like that in real life, I feel like i have to 'fix, improve or change'.

So, I spent quite a number of hours searching through all the different themes and spending hours trying to get my blog to look good. Its a bit of a vortex when you get into it isn't it? hehe.

Anyway, I changed tune the day before yesterday and thought, what the hell. Just sort out some content first, and then you can work on making it look good later. So, i thought what the hell...I dont have any great photos for the blog yet, there is not much happening there visually speaking, but stuff it. I'm going to sort out at least my basic content first, and then focus on making it look good later.

See the thing it, I am having the feeling to write and write and write lately. I am finding it easy to get 'in the flow'. And because of that I want to take advantage of that feeling :)

That is the way I have learned and am continuing to learn to live my life. By following the feeling. So what if my blog doesn't look perfect. Just get the content up.

Thats the feeling I'm having at the moment and I'm going with it.

3 pages of content are up. Woo hoo!!

Now I'm off to enjoy some winter sunshine before I get stuck back in the vortex heheh

Yes - content is key to getting traffic, and that should be the focus of your 'work'. But when you have time, you can tinker around with the theme.

If your theme allows for a logo, you can make your own: (there are other tutorials in WA too)

You can also spice up your sidebar with visuals with this: Hope this helps! Your are moving in the right direction...one step at a time :)

Yes, definitely, content is the reason people will visit your site. The design will develop as you learn and tweak. You have your priorities right. Keep going. ~Jude

Excellent work Natalie looks really good.

Suggest you keep your paragraphs smaller, so it reads as a conversation.
