Success Post: WA paid me for a tutorial I wrote!
I wrote a brief tutorial on how to find and download keyword lists from WA's soon-to-be-retired "Keyword Tool". People liked it. WA paid me! Just wanted to share my excitement with the community!
Write helpful content and the money will follow. That's what WA teaches. My experience is one of hundreds - maybe thousands - of examples posted here, that prove WA is right.
WA also stresses the importance of networking and interacting with other community members. My experience (the one you're reading about right now), proves they're right about that too. In bullet points (because I know you're busy working on your business!) here's how my success story unfolded.
- I don't post a lot here, so don't come to the notice of many members.
- Without someone bringing it to her attention, I doubt Lauren (laurenjean) would have ever become aware of my tutorial.
- Randy (DoubleTap), a friend to me and Lauren, mentioned my tutorial to her.
- She read it, liked it and - added mention of it to her post about how to find your kw lists in "Keyword Tool".
- Because of her mention, more people found my tutorial and clicked the like button.
- I got enough likes to get paid.
- WA paid me.
Making connections within the community is every bit as important as writing helpful content.
If you didn't know WA pays members when they create helpful training, this should be exciting news for you! You could get frustrated and quit WA, but why?! You won't find a better program or a more helpful community anywhere.
- Stick around.
- Work hard.
- Follow WA's training.
- Ask for help when you need it.
- NEVER GIVE UP.
If you do those things, you can not fail.
Focus - always focus - on content for your own site first. That's where the bulk of your income will come from. But, when you see a need within the community and you can address it, do. You'll make friends within the community and your friends here will, either directly or indirectly, help you make money.

Thank YOU, Randy. Without help from you and Lauren, this might have never happened. At minimum, it wouldn't have happened as quickly as it did. :)

Thank you, Cynthia! Some people may think it's silly, to get so excited over a "mere" $5, but I'm so excited about this proof of legitimacy - and my own capabilities and potential - I can't stop grinning. :D
