Well Now I've Done It
Ever since joining Wealthy Affiliate I've been waffling about moving my Nelson Sewing & Craft site over from Weebly. Suddenly, I realized that this summer marks the 10th Annivesary of my sewing business. What a great way to take the leap. Make a new more modern sleeker site and promote it as an anniversary event. Sew (yes that was a pun) that's what I did. I launched the new look just the other day on FB. I really like the theme and layout I chose. I feel like a grown up blogger right now.
For promotion purposes, when people sign up to my email newsletter they get entered into a drawing for one of ten weekly free prizes. (Made by yours truly) Each week I am going promote a different task to encourage email sign ups, social media follows etc. I am going to do this for ten weeks (10 years) get it. They also get entered into a drawing for the grand prize in September. I haven't quite decided what that prize will be but I am thinking a lap quilt or something along those lines. Something significant anyway.

Lovely site, loaded quickly and easy to navigate, my only comment try not to use things like 'a long time' 'lots' etc..it's good to be specific, the same as goal setting.....my 2 cents worth.
Thanks for the input. I used the general because I have been sewing for so long that I would have to actually do math to figure that out LOL. So I just did the math I have been sewing for 34 years.
Sew....I think that is a fantastic idea!! I have a sewing machine and I used to sew quite a bit, but I really got into knitting & crafts. Now....you are getting me excited about possible sewing again! But....I have to tell you that my husband loves to sew and he uses the machine more than I do ;-) It has found a new home....in his office!!
That's great. Once in a while my husband comandeers one of my to assemble some sort of hunting gear he wants modified.
