Ever since joining Wealthy Affiliate I've been waffling about moving my Nelson Sewing & Craft site over from Weebly. Suddenly, I realized that this summer marks the 10th Annivesary of my sewing business. What a great way to take the leap. Make a new more modern sleeker site and promote it as an anniversary event. Sew (yes that was a pun) that's what I did. I launched the new look just the other day on FB. I really like the theme and layout I chose. I feel like a grown up blogger right now.
For promotion purposes, when people sign up to my email newsletter they get entered into a drawing for one of ten weekly free prizes. (Made by yours truly) Each week I am going promote a different task to encourage email sign ups, social media follows etc. I am going to do this for ten weeks (10 years) get it. They also get entered into a drawing for the grand prize in September. I haven't quite decided what that prize will be but I am thinking a lap quilt or something along those lines. Something significant anyway.
